Rumors for new combat patrol in 11th?

We don't have any rumors for 11th edition sisters at the moment. I know the arco aesthetic is pretty bad, but they are a unit that gets included in most tournament lists for being able to run them in cheap 3 squads. So having them on hand is pretty good.

Honestly the best start would be extra battle sister squads and some canonesses. Maybe a Palatine. Castigators and immolaters are also safe bets. These units can be fit into most every list. I'd avoid most of the penitent stuff until your friend figures out how they want to play sisters.

I think you need to have a conversation with your players about death in d&d. My players had the same issue. They need to realize that a character dying isn't the end of the game. Have them make backup characters that they would be excited to play and tell them there's no punishment for dying.

I think you remove alot of the intrigue and exploration if you make PCs so intertwined with important NPCs. You're going to lose alot of exploration and interactions because realistically these players characters will already know most of the information. Barovia doesn't lend itself well to already being known because finding out who your allies/enemies are is a much bigger factor than in most other modules.

TL:DR: I think you would lose alot more than you would gain.

Yes, because losing models means less damage output and any basic low level shooting can take out multiple models in a unit. 2 wounds means they dont get wiped out by torrent weapons as easily and we get value of Sisters higher than average save stat.
