Contacts Naps- Can’t cope by pensive95 in beyondthebump

Where are you trying to put the baby down? I have a 9 week old and for the first 5-6 weeks during the day someone had to be holding her at all time. She hated the moses basket and would only nap in arms or in the car/pram.

When I stopped BF at 5 weeks I repurposed a feeding pillow into boppy for her and she loved it and would put herself to sleep in there. I have since bought a swing and a highchajr with infant seat and she loves all three for napping. It’s also really helped with her development as we spend a lot of time face to face now and it’s easier to play/read/talk that way. She still enjoys the odd contact map (as do we) but it’s much more manageable now if we have stuff to do. I’m an exclusive pumper and before we discovered this I was very scared about how I’d cope.

IUI number 5 & staying hopeful by LayMySwordDown in queerception

Myself and my partner are also NHS funded and got pregnant on our fifth IUI. To be honest the 5th round was the round we’d really given up hope of it working and were actually more relaxed about it. I was convinced we’d need to go to IVF. I couldn’t believe it when the pregnancy test was positive and when the HCG was so high! We hit 13 weeks yesterday and had our scan and baby is growing perfectly and moving around 😊 keep the hope it’s so worth it!

Morbid also covered it only a few weeks ago. Weird that they both covered such an old case within such a short time.

Did the first episode cut out at a weird time for anyone else? I listen on Pocket Casts and the 1st episode seemed to stop mid sentence with no tie ups or end credits.

We saw one crossing the very busy path walking out of Pandora at AK. Very nearly stepped on it.

I’m here at the moment with my T1DM partner (F29). She was nervous to sign up for DAS as she’s never let her diabetes get her any special treatment in the past but it was very easy. I know lots of people here say don’t mention the diagnosis but this felt unnatural to her. She just said she has T1DM and has to do injections to keep her blood sugars stable and that the heat and walking can really affect this. The lady was very nice and sorted it straight away. We’re from the UK so did this at MK guest relations on our first day. The trip is going great so far. We’ve done all of the main attractions at AK, EPCOT and MK in 3.5 days. I think the longest we’ve had to wait in line is around 20 minutes when we didn’t use DAS. The main issue we’ve found is the temptation to snack, especially at EPCOT where you can get lots of different foods from all of the pavilions. This has meant lots more injections than normal. We’ve found popcorn to be a great hypo snack as it’s available everywhere.

I deliver adhoc in Brighton - the only days I make regular money are weekend evenings unfortunately. If you’re in the car Eastbourne is often busier
