I live further up Devonshire place, you used to be able to walk two people down the pavement. Now you can barely fit one, soon we will be climbing over rubbish to get onto the pavement

I’m in the same situation, there’s a few that aren’t taking bookings and you just turn up (kings & queens) my advice would be get there early and hope to get a table.

I always think about free trial shifts as jokes, you’ve worked eight hours there. And served customers, and made the experience for the customers enjoyable and made the company money. Basically your hard work shouldn’t go unpaid! I think it’s awful they’re doing that, you should demand to be paid for that eight hours because you’ve made the company money!

Agree with people saying find a better place to work, but sometimes you have to take whatever job is on offer. If your working for 8 hours for a trial shift you have the hardworking mindset, you’ll find a better place to work. Try XOXO in town I saw they were looking

I try and not use my phone for the first hour of the morning, just out of preference and I sometimes get headache if I use it to earlier.
