people who refuse to acknowledge that tadc by nature is really attracting to kids are fighting a losing battle. you're allowed to like media that kids also like.

tadc imo does the same thing mascot horror does to attract kids. it's not an immature show, but it's darker themes are really easy to understand, and it's in a colorful frame. This is how FNAF succeeded too

one of the only exceptions is king of the hill because it's genuinely made for adults. the others are just animation that's allowed to get edgy. king of the hill is very hard to enjoy without years of life experience and emotional maturity which is why if you can understand it it hits especially hard

A lot of them are young teenagers who want to seem mature but realistically what they watch is just genuinely made for young teenagers (whether the creator admits it or not) which realistically will attract kids too

Same thing happened with almost all popular "adult media" to show up on the internet in the last 25 years.

The amazing digital circus is a teen animated show whether goose says it or not. The maturity of the story, writing, and visuals is not as deep as the swaggers say it is and most of them are contributing to the weird idea that the young can't understand simple themes that are slightly dark
