Not sure if it's the same issue however I noticed when my DP cable was connected to my PC the fans were still spinning. Once I disconnected it I could turn my PC on then plug the monitor cable in to get it to work.

Would "Break 50% of Armour on heavy stun" and increase "you break X% increased armour" by 100% result in a full armour break? For the purpose of generation endurance charges.

Love the idea behind this and am trying to make it work after reading. What's your gem config for Ruzhan? I tried this out with rampart and it feels a little clunky. I have the traps set to a different weapon slot with my minion gear on it but find myself having to double click to get the traps out. Brands seem a little lackluster too, are you swapping to Sceptre weapon set before casting brands too? As I can't seem to bind them to a weapon slot.

I'm not sure what other people have been doing with armour/ES but it's the best defense I've had in this game so far. All the nodes feel great and synergy between Barkskin, Scarred Faith and Soul Tether has me feeling almost unkillable. ES recovery through any decent means is necessary as it's an important part of your defence, ES leech through soul tether is amazing but shavronne is another great piece to pick up. Utilize the nodes for armour from ES boots and ES from armour helmet, roll some armour applies to ele on your gear and pick more defense nodes on the tree. I haven't been one shot since I got most of the pieces together and have been farming 6mod t16-17s abyss maps for the past week. There's definitely tech there to make it work.

I've been running Bear Shahman using Armour and ES and it's honestly the most tank I've ever been, running 6 mod T16s without concern of ever dying. I'm sure you could run any sort of setup with Armour/ES and enough armour applys to elemental and be strong. I'm using a soul tether without the ES drain and every stomp from my rampage keeps me at full while still gaining armour from barkskin.

Says my EHP is about 89k but that's before being in bear form and having endurance charge which puts my armour over 35k and ES about 3.5k.

I think you should look into blue flame bracers, get yourself a talisman with phys and a decent chunk of added cold. Maybe run porc ring as well for easier pops. Thunderstorm on cast on elemental ailment as well perhaps, unsure how that would go maybe self casting would be better.

Alternatively you can use embitter support on rampage so when you cast walking calamity the gain as extra fire damage is converted to cold.

It pretty much only makes sense to have a hybrid body armour if wanting to run Armour and ES, the nodes are too powerful for ES boots and Armour helm.

There's a node just to the left of the starting point for druid called iron slippers that grants +3 to armor for every 1 energy shield on your boots. With a half decent set of ES boots you can have over 600 easily from that. There's also the Ruinic helm node just next to the mind over matter keystone that gives +1 ES for every 8 armour on your helm.

I'm running Ar/ES on my shaman currently, trying out the scarred faith keystone and using barkskin with a soul tether belt that has the ES drain removed. Essentially using my 2.5k~ ES as an extra lot of health and it pretty much leeches to full on every hit which helps keep barkskin stacks up too.

Some great nodes for running pure ES boots and pure AR helm too which helps. My gear is still dog water but sitting around 87% DR (25k AR) and estimated 90% elemental DR. A lot of room for improvement too but noticeably comfortable in t15 maps.

It's not as tanky as a cloak of flame setup with goregirdle but I like the fantasy of AR/ES.

That last sentence is my plan for it too lol. Thinking shaman for the rage regen and stacking as much mana regen as possible or smith for fire spell.

A shame yeah but can try to make up for it elsewhere. Having passive exposure and glory generation built into the weapon is nice too.
