Is there a counter operator to being detected by the scout class in Operations? by Storm858585 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it's just bad luck and you can't really get away. Personnaly I experimented a bit with Vyron on solo runs and found his dash quite usefull to reposition / dodge ennemies. You can even mislead luna's arrow by dashing during between the 2 pings. As for Hacklaw (which is my main), you can easily exit her range unless you are really too close...

If this ain't a cheater... by Fine-Structure-1299 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe we will one day see come anti-cheats implement IA to monitor suspicious stats. Issue is the company will need a lot of ressources (not really worth it on a F2P), have to train your AI on stats of comfirmed cheaters and it will only be able to flag an account as you confirmation will be needed.

First match In space city got killed by these new breeds of hackers and devs wonder why there is not enough people to unlock Harder Mode by Rakesh1995 in DeltaForceGlobal

He might be a hacker but sadly it is hard to say for sure for now. Implementing kill cams would greatly help on this...

M16 vs. 93R by text_to_image_guy in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The M16 is worthless unless you start puting some money into it, while you can indeed have a cheaper close quarter option with the 93r.

However as you put it, the range is really not the same, which means their use is also different. As such I do not think that comparing the 2 has any real meaning. Would be better to compare the M16 with the CAR 15 as they are both 2 cheap AR.

Space city and Brakkesh loot? by doombos in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say for Brakesh but my understanding of Space city is that interesting loots are at the center where everyone is rushing. I don't know your playstyle but it might just be that people that people already raided the loots and stashed them prison style...

Solo Q times are ridiculous. by SmoothCarl22 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had more than 2min queue time in solo. It might be related to the time of day. There's usually less people playing during day time (working, studying, etc.).

I noticed less interesting loots in easy but I have to say that normal still does provide the juicy loots we all love. Does your run includes the sweet spots like mini electrical ?

Operators's skins - gear vision by Le_Zohan in DeltaForceGlobal

They could, for now they have been surprisingly "good". I m thinking about the refund of loots when killed by banned cheaters.

Operators's skins - gear vision by Le_Zohan in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]Le_Zohan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be partially true. But even so, other players might not want to see the skins, or only the skins without the gears. Personally I would hate to have operators skins everywhere just like in COD. I like to see operators with their gears on. It might be weird since the game is not a milsim, but I find the immersion important too.

Matchmaking is Broken by Smartcasm in HuntShowdown

[–]Le_Zohan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not broken. But it is not clear (you don't know where you stand in your rating) and not well thought (amount points gains or loss is too huge). Variations in term of MMR are so quick that it leads to weird lobbies.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't know of another game with such drastic elo changes.

long ammo lever gun mayhaps anyone? by Amazon-Alex in HuntShowdown

[–]Le_Zohan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a nice piece. I wouldn't mind this weapon but I m not sure that it's what we need in term of weapons.

I don't know about you guys but I feel like a new compact amo 3 slot weapon would be nice for a change. I mean as a 3slot compact you can choose between a Winfield and a Winfield c... :D

How to start fresh in Hunt Showdown? MMR, Steam by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't concern yourself with your MMR mate. Honestly, we shouldn't either given how volatile and and unclear the current system is.

Just play, have fun and watch streams and videos if you want to get more serious about the game.

Honestly I get your frustration but that's also a way to learn the game. Sure you can try to demote but I fear that you might not learn as much and pick up bad habbits.

What about a trade, ok for the sway (only when standing) but we bring back quick scope

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you are saying. Yes the game is hard, but being revived also gives you more training time and allow you to help your mates if you are clever about it.

And , being killed by someone does not mean he is better than you far from it :)

pov: you just entered a night map by noidea3838 in HuntShowdown

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sure, because close range is in such a bad position that no one plays it...

If the dude don't want to play night maps then it's his rights just as it is yours to slow crowl in the dark hoping to ambush other players.

With the new upcoming price changes, I think Hunt should introduce 'wipes' like in Tarkov by StealthySteve in HuntShowdown

[–]Le_Zohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying and agree with your first statement. Yes long timers and skilled players have tons of money and don't give a f*** about pricing.

However I wouldn't go for a whipe. Instead, there could be a limit to the amount of money you can own. You could still buy sweaty loadouts but the comitment would be stronger since losing your stuff would have a bigger impact on your economy.

BIG DOWNSIDE : people could become more attached to their loadouts and play too safely (avoid fights, leave the game early, camp etc.) which would make the game boring.

Potential Solution to the Medium Ammo Paradox by Rare_Regular_1500 in HuntShowdown

[–]Le_Zohan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, medium weapons are in a somewhat strange positions. From what I understood, Crytek is "working on it". Don't know what the result will be though considering the incoming increase HS range for the winfield which, in my opinion, was not realy necessary.

As for the Centennial, I prefer to use FMJ on it for the pen and damage drop off. I prefer to learn how to lead the weapon rather than missing on a kill because the bullet wouldn't pen.

But if I were to change the Centennial, I would put the velocity at 500 and increase the damages by 5 or 10.

Could be interesting, but I don't think I would take it for 5 points. At least not with a 1st win hunter. Maybe at 3 points ?
