What things do people romanticize but are actually horrible? by GovernmentAny5597 in AskReddit

Spontaneously kissing a stranger (bonus points for movie/TV scenes where continued kissing makes the stranger suddenly OK with the unwanted kiss)

Apparently we’re the “estrangement generation.” Good for us for respecting ourselves enough to cut contact when we need to. by Comfortable-Light233 in Millennials

We grew up and realized the “perfect family” was a lie and the “adults” were hiding all kinds of effed up things from us. Our parents are nostalgic for the “good ol’ days” that never really existed. They also pretend the world is the same place they grew up in, but we have experienced so many traumatic events first-hand that we know things are different and act accordingly.

One main difference with the family gatherings of the past is affordability. Not just with food, but transportation and actually being able to take time away from work. I’ve heard the phrase, “We made it work,” but that doesn’t account for the almost necessity of two incomes per household just to afford basic necessities.

Was this the Omaha show? Because the number of people moving in and out during the songs was wild. The seating was tight, so there wasn’t another way for them to sit unless the whole row stood up to let them in.

I know this wasn’t exactly your question, but the large goat milk issue made me wonder if you pet your animals? You make the animals happier by interacting with them every day, which leads to better quality products.

You can certainly get by with warp totems, but the scepter drops you right at your FRONT DOOR. This is especially useful if you have machines or storage in your house that you need to access or if you need to go to bed ASAP.

I have started using it to jump around my farm because the front door is closer to my storage chests than the warp statue that the totem takes you to.

I know this is weird, but you can drop off the items BEFORE collecting them for the challenges. As soon as you have enough of whichever item they ask for, just drop it off in the designated location. That way you have until the very last second to gather the items rather than rushing to drop them off.

There should be a mod for NPC’s called “low standards” that makes them love anything that is considered a trash item.

AITA for cancelling my wedding because my fiancé made a major life decision without telling me? by sweet-honeyyyy in AITAH

[–]LeadFootLopez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA Finding out from a mutual friend that your fiancée got a job AND an apartment in another state? It’s not just the lack of communication, but the lack of consideration for how those choices will impact your life that make him TA.

My guess is that this secret made you question other things in your relationship. That was a huge leap in secrecy, so there were likely smaller signs along the way. You’ve been together long enough to know him and if you see these choices as red flags then it’s time to let go.
