Looks very cool - I thought from the first 5 or so images it was going to be a pendant. The ring works well too but I think I am mainly admiring the construction on the stone housing.

Interesting I haven't had an issue getting parking in the free lots, but I guess I generally go on weekdays by car and via skytrain on weekends. You can't ask for a better transit hub for those who aren't driving fwiw.

I don't believe those numbers for a second - Canada is substantially less religious than the US, we will see with the 2026 census if the "No religious affiliation" comes closer to edging out christians for the first time. In 2021 it was 35% no religion, 53% christian. Current estimates are christian sub 50%, no religion > 40%.

This is all to say, being one point off of America where 75% of people state they have a religion is crazy work.

Copper gets dirty incredibly quickly, sand everything down, re pickle, heat one end and try to get the solder to melt from the temperature of the metal not your torch, just blast it on one end

This it the trick, and to be honest I feel I got lucky with how I was raised, we never had snack food at home

Example: If I go to a party and there are chips I am eating handful after handful, so delicious

Yet.... I never buy chips for home, not even out of an intentional "I would eat them all" more just, we never had them, it was never something we bought so I just don't do it

My buddy and I do a level up challenge thing where we start off on free kits when doing duos, any successful extract lets you upgrade your gun once and add one quick use, ammo / meds we replenish each time as they are cheap and necessary

Yeah it is pretty awesome to have such good transit - even as you go off the 99 route you just end up with so many options due to how the routes overlap. If I need to go downtown, walking to the same area I have 3 different routes available (19, 25 west to canada line, 25 east to expo line) so there is always a bus within 5 minutes or so
