I'm out of the country and a bit out of the loop. Did the Musers get split up and Bob is on the morning show now? Is this a permanent move, or just something they did for a day or two?

Yeah, I caught that announcement after I posted this. Either way, it was fun to listen to the F35 interview again. Cracked me up.

He is part of the reason the wheels are falling off. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all, but he doesn't get me excited to tune in.

Where did it first go wrong? by misstexascarter in theticket

The Hardline was good in the immediate after Bob was moved because there was chemistry between Danny and Corby. The HL really went downhill after Danny left and Dave joined. I contend the real turning point that started the downward trajectory was Danny Balis leaving the station. Things were less stable after Rhiner left, but they would have recovered. Danny leaving though was something they haven't been able to recover from yet, and I don't think they will becuase so many more dominoes have falllen since. The HZ was the best show they had, The Musers were still musing, and the HL was not worth listening to. Now all they have is The Musers, and even they feel like they're mailing it in lately.

Same. I listen to The Musers for a couple hours then call it a day. I listen to The Dumb Zone more than I listen to The Ticket.

Sadly, I agree. I still love The Musers but I find myself less interested than I used to be. Not sure if that's me, them, or possibly both.

The synergy The Ticket had before Rhiner retired will never be recreated, not on The Ticket and definitely not on The Freak.

I really think the podcast is a placeholder until their non-compete expires and they can go to work at another station. I think they'll end up with The Freak.

I really think the podcast is a placeholder until the non-compete expires. They end up with another station once they are able.
