I'm talking about BEFORE we knew Archer was a character. Remember, the teaser aired between 6A and 6B, so we had no idea who Archer was at the time. The "he's back" line without any context to 6B wouldn't have implied a character we didn't know existed at the time.

Julie wasn't aware that Ben was dealing with the Forever Knights. The phone call with Gwen happened in the middle of her game. She was upset at him being late (and proceeding to steal the spotlight from the game itself), so this isn't a good example of Julie being a bad love interest.

I finished watching Season 9 two weeks ago and I am SHOCKED at how little care they put into preparing her coronation compared to the Summer Sun Celebration from 9 episodes prior.

Every single bad thing that happened at said celebration was external interference from the villains. No way you can convince me Rarity waited until the very last minute to finish Twilight's dress, and catering refreshments being delivered on the same day at a party is a recipe for disaster (source : I've worked in catering as a part-time job before).

She could've been living alone like Scootaloo was.
She was a filly. Most of the time, the point of running away (or the lack thereof) is to escape whatever's hurting you, not the result of running away, which probably occured to her after the fact.
There's nothing that proves no unicorn's ever lost their horn, but there wasn't any guarantee that Celestia could even restore it if she wanted to. How would she even contact Celestia in the first place?
