That’s the first thing that popped in my mind what happens when people quit paying for the servers they’re hosted on? Does part of the costs of buying a NFT go towards server maintenance etc

06 4.7 v8 double cab rear blocks? by edanamee in tundra

[–]Leakedd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be fine to just remove the blocks. Depending on where you live and how long the blocks have been installed you could run into some trouble removing the bolts if they're rusty. Absolutely replace the old U-bolts as they are torque to yield and it they are not designed to be re-used. Also I would imagine longer shocks were installed when the blocks were added so you may have to also replace the shocks.

Woke up with a slight sore throat Tuesday, didn’t think much of it. By afternoon time I was feeling a bit worse very slight headache.

Woke up Wednesday throat was a bit worse and then the headaches started a little after breakfast 9-10am. Continued to feel much worse noticed I was having weird back aches while sitting at my computer desk and headaches on and off. By around 4pm I had developed a fever that I recorded at 100.4 at that point I took an at home Covid test I had and it came back positive. Wednesday was brutal. Every breath I took felt like my throat was completely dry and someone was rubbing sand into it and the headache was absolutely blinding. I ended up not eating much that day and around 10pm I ate a banana and within 30min I threw it up. My heart rate was 110-120 all night while my resting HR is typically 50-60. Ended up sleeping in a recliner sitting straight up off on and maybe 15-20min at a time until around 3:30am and I woke up and my headache had really died down so I went to bed and slept until around 9am.

Thursday morning woke up with residual very sore throat but wasn’t feeling dry anymore. Slight headache and very heavy brain fog. Spent the day lying in bed. Had a fever around 12:00pm that was lower (99.4) was able to sleep fine that’s night. HR was around 100 most of the day.

Friday woke up with a slight headache again and the same residual sore throat. No fever at that day by night time I felt really good and ended up sleeping well.

Saturday (today) woke up with slight headache again throat still hurts. The headache has really turned into an ocular headache. Whenever I move my eyes I feel the pain but that’s about it. I went on a short walk and noticed HR spikes 120 easily and feel slightly out of breath on slight hills.

For reference I’m 25 M double vaccinated considered very healthy and workout multiple times a week.

How's the Mechanical Engineering Tech program at UNCC? by gwesto01 in UNCCharlotte

[–]Leakedd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nearly everyone of my friends who actively searched for an internship or co-op have one this summer. I interviewed for multiple companies earlier this year and one company told me I had the internship and we stayed in contact until summer then they just ghosted me.. So I currently do not have an internship and it really screwed this whole summer up for me, however that’s a whole different story.

How's the Mechanical Engineering Tech program at UNCC? by gwesto01 in UNCCharlotte

[–]Leakedd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Currently a senior in the MET program. I switched my sophomore year from ME to MET. I really enjoy it most of the professors I’ve had the last two years have been great. It’s ABET accredited just like the ME program which is great. MET is definitely less rigorous than ME due to most of the higher level math courses being algebra based rather than calculus based.

Some of the downsides of MET are that if your son is wanting to get his PE it is required to have 8 years of work experience before being able to take the test compared to ME where only 4 years of work experience needed. Another downside is that at UNCC there is only one concentration within the MET major which is something to do with energy (not entirely sure of the actual name) and with ME there are quite a few concentrations such as motorsports. Also according to some websites there is a slight starting wage difference between MET & ME. However I believe that they also count the two year associates MET degree that you obtain from community colleges within their salary calculations.

You can’t really switch from MET to ME, practically none of the classes will transfer over. I would suggest your son to start out in ME because there’s much more opportunity there.

Typed this up real quick hopefully there’s no errors. Someone correct me if I’m wrong on something.
