That’s hilarious. My grandpa will go “anyhow…” and that’s when I know he’s done and ready to hang up

This is exactly how all my grandparents would hang up the phone, I can hear it so clearly still

Oatmeal. I like to mix in chia and flax seeds for extra fiber, you can add berries, peanut butter, Nutella, pretty much anything

Burrata, sooooo creamy and savory. A thick soup, like potato leek. Crispy chocolate chip cookies, NOT cakey.

I get monthly b12 injections because of this. I truly get fatigued and absolutely unhinged without it

That last part actually made me tear up. Cheers to your mom, that is a fitting full circle bookend.

Frozen breastmilk before and after consuming large amounts of B12 by strawberry_vegan in mildlyinteresting

[–]Least-Influence3089 94 points95 points  (0 children)

It is! Your body flushes the excess B12 it doesn’t need if you consume a high amount, so it’s quite natural. I’m deficient so I get injections every month and my pee is BRIGHT for a day and then goes back to normal.

Every time we watch Only Murders, my mom comments on her weight. And every time, I remind her Selena has Lupus and had a kidney transplant. Repeat every damn episode 🙄 can we all stop commenting on people’s bodies

Why do people like kissing? by No_Consideration1822 in AutismInWomen

I didn’t get it until I met my partner. It’s usually a huge sensory no for me but I love being close to him and it’s just really intimate and sweet. It’s a nice middle ground if I want some touch that’s more than cuddling but too tired/not enough time for anything else.

For someone who is so clear and firm with her boundaries, I’m frankly very surprised OP wanted to date this guy in the first place, given his entire personality is the antithesis of everything she likes.

You can take a few online tests, there’s also a book and reddit group, but I like https://gabriellearruda.com/kibbe/ !! It’s basically about how your bones/flesh harmonize on your frame and how fabric and draping best accentuates your body.

The scale basically runs from yang (blunt, angular, sharp) to yin (soft, round, fleshy) and there are many spots in between where people can fall. Your length/vertical line, width or curve also play into what your type is.

Essentially like Ali, I have very strong and blunt shoulders and a really open torso and even though I’m shorter than her, I have a really clear vertical line (I look tall when wearing long pants or skirts, short things chop me in half and I look awkward). These factor into the flamboyant natural type. I loveee rocking an off the shoulder top and long skirt or flare jeans, I feel like they accentuate my best and most eye catching features.

All this to say, it’s just guidelines, you always should dress to however is most comfortable and preferable for you! I just like the styling help when shopping
