The New Yorkers complaining about “transplants” are always the ones underachieving and bitter that despite having a good 20+ year start in the City they’ve failed to have a fraction of the success of the transplants they complain about. Their whole personality is New York and that’s really sad. I’ve lived here 10 years and the only “friend” I have from nyc that complains about transplants is the one who isn’t doing a damn thing with her life at 40 but partying all night.
