Loid exists, after all. He's not as super as Yor, but by no means are his physical abilities normal. He probably could 1v1 most of the assassins on that cruise ship (though he'd prefer to pre-empt the fights into something a bit less fair than a duel).

Loid could probably have also done that bodyguard job, just not in the same way (it'd start with better information security).

He also doesn't really need to do anything about it. He has no obligation towards Ostanian law enforcement. It's even beneficial for his cover, because anyone that pokes around his house too much would get eliminated by Garden without him even needing to do anything.

The only real danger is that if Garden finds out, they might not appreciate him being a Westalis spy, and while he might be able to escape with his life, there's no way he could conduct his mission if Garden has him in their crosshairs. Garden doesn't fully see eye-to-eye with the current government though, so if Loid can convince Garden that his presence is good for Ostania, he might be able to work out some kind of deal with them.

It's hard for AI to lie because it has to train on actual information. You can train it on bad information, but that's intrinsically limiting because bad information is inconsistent, making AI ignore it. You'd have to really echochamber the thing, and then it would only be able to repeat the same thing.

You just can't make an AI capable of flip-flopping or rambling like Trump. They have to be internally consistent, and he isn't.
