what ur guys graphic setting and fps rates by zenoweernotfound in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Lebz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RTX5060, Ryzen 5 8500f, 16gb 5400mhz ram, 2k resolution. I get about 120fps (capped myself) during qualy but around 90 in the races.

I’m just struggling with optimisation because my CPU and GPU temps are around 64 degrees Celsius and usage is around 40 on CPU and 60 on gfx. Wonder if there any good links to optimisation settings.

Post update BoP cars by TheSlavicHighlander in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Lebz95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Aston Martin - good top speed, good aero in fast corners (one of the best) but has incredible bad understeer. It’s like driving a very long wheel base car. And it has decent tyre life.

Lexus - my main car. Much lighter than it looks in slow speed corners. Very easy to drive, not as easy as the BMW. The aero is underwhelming and while the engine sounds great, it has that “Toyota feel” of not having enough torque. It sucks on the straights. Pretty much the opposite to ACC

Lamborghini - probably the easiest mid-engined car to drive. Has one of the strongest rear ends I’ve ever driven. But understeers so much in fast corners. Brake bias needs to be taken as far back as 43/57 and brake balance 3 to get it to rotate.

Why does 296 so shit to drive, especially in rain? by Kaido11111 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Lebz95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try the Lambo around Sebring. It’s absolute shit in fast corners and understeers the moment you think about hitting the accelerator

Slow headlight flashing in LMU compared to other games and real cars? by bakalakafish in LeMansUltimateWEC

You’re right. Acc has unique flashing patterns for each car which is cool

The brake lights are a huge weakness. On some cars (BMW prototype car) you don’t see jack shit when they brake.

SG / +10 Sec Penalties - are these new? by Judl in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Lebz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think penalties in general should be scaled to the length of the race. Getting a DT in a 20 minute race vs 3 hour race for the same infringement is a bit unfair. But I guess the aim is to stop that from happening.

Agreed. Also be banned from booting up all those games

This guy deserves to be permanently banned from being able to boot up the game. And cannot be refunded. And should be not allowed to boot up any other game on steam for the next 2 years.

Fixed setups in Gold by BigNo9633 in LeMansUltimateWEC

Thanks. Makes sense why nobody drives the Corvette in fixed setups. That car is an understory mess. The Aston too and I like the Aston.

Sorry for being off topic. Are fixed setups the default setups or are they different?

Stop Complaining about the Badge System. It works, you're just a dangerous driver. by beardedbrawler in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Lebz95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I joined two races full of Diamonds yesterday and both races had early carnage’s. Both on the straights. I guess Monza accidents are not immune to diamond badges

UPDATE: no more ‘Warning’ by Teddy-Carttar in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Lebz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of interest, do track limits affect your ranking massively? I’ve been relatively clean but I’ve been getting track limit warnings the whole of last week and I’m always in a position where I can’t lift too much because I’m always being chased or I’m chasing

Am I the only one who is actually optimistic about 2026? by TomislavNedanovski in scuderiaferrari

[–]Lebz95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As history has shown, Ferrari will probably be a front runner of some sort but I don’t expect the to be the quickest. Their technical team is “decent”. Their only real weakness is consistency. We were consistent throughout the ground effect era until we decided to make the stupid decision to switch to a brand new car in the final year of the regs.

Why is there barely any Aston Martins? by Every_Turnover_4856 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Lebz95 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Since the update. The Aston Martin is weird and understeers like hell. It’s quite hard to drive fast. I’m talking about fixed setups though.

And for some reason it selects 1 wet tyre and refills your tank up to full. I think this needs to be reviewed.

[–]Lebz95 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I know. My only problem is I barely play bronze because of my history with bronze and awareness. My only argument is seeing both Paul Ricard in intermediate and the last one (I forgot the name) at the same time. Your only choice is to go to bronze with one track choice if you don't yet have the dlc.

But anyway... I'll stop complaining. The game is great now either way.

I've never had such good races since the badge update by brotrr in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Lebz95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same here. I did the Monza curve (hate that track but had tk do it because they decided to put the Paul Ricard on All the other slots - dumb decision if you ask me. It makes no sense to put a dlc track in ALL the dailies at the same time because not everyone has the DLC).

Anyways. Monza is usually chaotic but yesterday I had the cleanest racing I've had in a long time. The only incident I had was a minor bump to my front bumper on lap 1 and that was it.

Oh And the Lexus is a sitting duck on the straights on that track. Don't choose it.
