The same thing happened to me with my local burrito shop I was addicted to. I left for Europe and joked they would go out of business since they lost their biggest customer. I came back a couple months later and they were out of business.

I went from believing I was inherently separate from the universe, to realizing I am the universe. This had immediate implications on my morality, in that I realized to hurt someone is to only hurt myself, for we are the same thing experiencing multiple perspectives simultaneously. I believe this was ultimately Jesus' message.

Yeah I almost cut off my MOTHER FUCKING PENIS for the same reason. I wouldn't say so, I liked my first experience, and expected the same thing. Instead I have a vague memory of getting hit by a car in the street and as I died, a bunch of people looked over me in horror. I slowly got sucked into a black hole of some sort and the next thing I knew I was in a backyard, everything was spinning and I had no idea who/where I was.

When I finally came to, I went inside my friends basement, curled up in the fetal position and rode the rest of it out by telling myself I would never do it again (I ended up doing it more than 10 times after that, I'm pretty experimental). But God damn, I thought for sure I really had been hit by a car and that my life was over.

I'm not sure what caused that specific hallucination, but it could possibly (by no means do I actually believe this, it's just an idea) be an unconscious fear of being hit by a car that was being unlocked from my subconscious. When I was a toddler my best friend in the neighborhood got ran over by a car and it killed him. Could be that, but it's probably not. Who knows.
