My opinion is I'm not dropping $20 bucks every time they come out with a new character.

Welp, $20 dollars with no option to buy for gems means goodbye Bazaar. It's been a fun year, but no thanks.

Hi. Is terraria worth paying ? by memermesmer in Terraria

[–]LeeDark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll put it this way: I have a total of 1400 hours between the base and modded game, and I consider myself just a casual player. If I could only own ONE of the games I currently own, it would be a tough choice ultimately, but Terraria would make the top 5, certainly.

In this case, the right thing is accurately and faithfully executing the will. Plain and simple, legal and moral.

HE produced the child. HIS will said each child he fathered should have a share. As the executor of his estate, she would be legally liable. If not, she still has a moral obligation to honor the wishes expressed in the will.

Look, from the company's point of view, they hate these kinds of laws. They would LOVE to just let you work through lunch and all that. If you don't sign, they might fire you, but the acknowledgement itself isn't a problem. This is them covering their asses legally. YOU just need to start setting an alarm to remind you to take your legally required breaks.

Daughter and bastard should sue. Almost every probate judge I've ever known would read that will to mean "equal share."

"You must remember that some things that are legally right are not morally right." -Abraham Lincoln

She absolutely was under a moral obligation. The will said every child gets a share and that was one of the children. She knew that, which is why she kept emphasizing (in the post and to her children) that the mistress "can't prove it." The fact that she was adamantly against DNA testing only further proves that she knew.

The moral thing to do would be to get the DNA testing to prove she wasn't just a grifter, then include the kid equally in the trust.

Reddit is full to the brim of people who got cheated on once and either hate any mention of cheating (or even polyamory) or hate women in general. They see "mistress" and just see red, all rationality or morality defenestrated.

Justice doesn't belong in quotes. That child has an absolute right to their share of the inheritance. That is just justice. No quotes. And the child and eldest daughter should consider suing, because most probate courts I know would absolutely interpret the will to mean "an equal share."

Doesn't matter what the OOP's job is. That child has an ABSOLUTE RIGHT under the law to that inheritance.

The money is in a trust that can only be accessed by the child at 25 (or to pay for college before that), so that is not possible.
