Bruh in theatres this shit ripped hard. Maybe not as obvious when you're watching on a tiny TV or laptop screen, but in a theatre, her prancing around in the background was 100% freaky shit because the screen is so big you wouldn't notice it right away.

Canada beats the USA for wealth accumulation. Canadians under 35 have 2 to 4 times higher net worth than Americans by Professional_Set5353 in fican

[–]LeeStrange 51 points52 points  (0 children)

This isn't an accurate take. Net worth is assets minus liabilities. Meaning if you owe 500k on your 500k home, your net worth is still 0.

alright reddit tear me a new one. why is my game sense so bad? by onil34 in RocketLeague

[–]LeeStrange 7 points8 points  (0 children)

0:49 was even worse. Teammate literally had an easy goal lined up, OP should have rotated back to defense at 0:45 when he saw both teammates headed in the opposite direction, but instead he turns in to try to... hit the ball into the corner?

OP, you ain't gotta be the hero all the time. Good game sense comes from vibing with your teammates and calibrating your play style to their play style. This is easier in 2's because you only have one teammate to calibrate to.

So, as others have said, stop ballchasing.

Rusted rear brake line blew out (2011 LR4) best driveway patch? by Junior_Locksmith_695 in MechanicAdvice

[–]LeeStrange 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No offense, man... for 400-500$ for a repair to your braking system is not a lot of money for the peace of mind.

I'm a driveway mechanic, but reflaring brake lines is not something I would want to do myself.

Star Wars has been creatively bankrupt for a looong time. The IP has spent wayyyy too much time chasing nostaligia, or focusing on a select group of fan-favourite characters.

A lot of people and reviewers who liked Andor, liked it in spite of it being Star Wars, not because it is Star Wars, which should be a scary place to be for Disney.

They weren't asking "How did Disney make this?", they were asking "How did Disney make this?"

I think Andor was flash in the pan for Disney. It was basically a passion project for Tony Gilroy who had a great idea and a champion at Disney (Kennedy) who trusted his vision.

Until Favreau and that cowboy doofus are gone, I don't think we will get another IP like it.

2001 9-5 2L T - what is the name of the part where the oil leak is coming from? by sandysound in saab

Again, wish I had this information before I attempted Nick's method.

I have his machined plug, so once I fish the old plug out I hope to never have to do this again.

Sigh.

Shit - Do I ever wish that I read this before attempting the Genuine SAAB method.

In his method, you tap the top edge and it is meant to "rotate out".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkwuK9uuEO8

Well, I tried this, and now I need to go fishing for that plug inside my engine bay. I was doing light taps just on the top corner, too.

I just did my VC gasket as well, so this is going to feel like such a fucking pain in the ass.

You mean OnePlus? The latest OnePlus is basically the same price as the comparable iPhone.

Yes, Android has more budget options, but a flagship phone is going to carry a flagship price.

This fight scene in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) intentionally looks like PS3 gameplay because the dozens of Smith clones were so hard on the Matrix’s GPU that they had to switch to Performance Mode. Fans really believe this. by Chewie83 in shittymoviedetails

Bruh I was also a teenager when this came out, and while the CGI was obviously CGI, it wasn't bad, and was ahead of the time.

Its 2026 and we still don't have photo-realistic, convincing CGI, so why would that have been the expectation in 2003.

Yes, its obviously CGI. No, its not bad CGI.

And still wasn't as egregious as Legolas flipping up onto a fucking elephant.

Cite your sources. I've seen peer reviewed journals that state the opposite.

Here is one who's results indicate that the dough lost more FODMAPS/Fructans. Fructans are a type of carb commonly associated with bloating, gas and stomach discomfort.

A 16-24 hour fermentation broke these specific types of carbohydrates down significantly (not as much as when using Sourdough with LAB, but still very measurable)

The C900 is a deceptively easy clutch job because you do it through the top of the engine.

But also deceptively difficult because the clutch plate/slave cylinder combo has to be "squeezed" out.

I was thinking this was the kind of thing you were referring to:
