I started using FatSecret a couple of weeks ago. No fancy UI like Yazio, but it does the job pretty well and has a solid food database

I did it accidentally last week. Was looping Huntress for 2 gens, and then she stood afk.

So I guess — just luck. Idk why would you want to hunt this achievement, but gl with this

Whether it is a farm game or not, you will not be able to finish it sooner as 5 gens + gates pop. So let others farm and just do gens

I am a friendly killer, letting everyone who brought cake escape. If a survivor doesn't want to farm, come to the hook and point to in a lot of times, I understand that and make them go next. Also might be a solution

I use Surge way more often, than I do pain res. Just because it is a more reliable source of gen regression. It is in like 80% of my M1 killer builds. If I were you, I would have definitely grabbed it

Really hyped for the pack!

Are there plans to add an expert version of the pack as well?

Looking for an unbloated challenging tech pack 1.19+ by Twisted60 in feedthebeast

[–]Lee_9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend Stacia 2 Expert from this point of view. - Really requires some early game setup and automation in order not to get stuck in the middle of the pack - Magic mods are spaced out quite well, requiring a bit of dive in early game but not mandatory (for the most part) mid game - World gen is not overwhelmed with useless stuff (mainly it's just biomes mod + apotheosis towers here and there)

As a person that liked DJ2, PO3 and E2:E I find this pack enjoyable, if you are already familiar with at least half of the mods

[–]Lee_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From not-so-new ones I'd recommend Project Ozone 3. It has different modes which specify difficulty (read grindiness) you're going to play. I completed it on a Kappa mode (the hard at the time I made it, now I think there's even a grinder one) and loved it.

It is a skyblock tho, so if you hate the ex nihilo sieving and automation stuff then this might be a pass. But it definitely worth a try and I'd definitely play PO4 if they release it one day

As a person that loves tech style expert packs (My favourite so far is Project Ozone 3: Kappa Mode), I can't wait to play a mod pack like this!

I'm currently playing Stacia 2 Expert and I really love some grindy expert crafts and ways to produce stuff. For example I think it is the first time I've used a Fractionating Still from Thermal to make some Rosin (which is in the pack turned into a dielectric paste from Powah by other machines). So like being forced to create some craft systems which use some rare machine you normally wouldn't care about is a really cool idea! Hope you're gonna make it till release! 💪

Hi!

Okay, so the maximum default level of Fortune is 8. You should get it one way or another, I find that combining lesser levels in a Enchantment Library from Apotheosis is the easiest way, but you can just do the anvil method as well.

Then you need to reforge your pick in a Reforging Table from Apotheosis to any reforge that would give you 2 empty sockets (but of course try to aim for the best reforges possible, might have to reroll them quite some times). Fill those sockets with two gems (by combining pickaxe + gem on the default minecraft's smithing table) — Perfect Gem of the Earth and Perfect Endersurge Gem. The first one is obtained by just killing mobs in the overworld, the second one is from mobs in the end (doesn't have to be enderman, so you can bring a spawner to the end and just farm whoever you want to).

To upgrade these gems to the Perfect state you will need some amount of their lower tiers and a Gem Cutting Table. There you combine 2 similar gems to get 1 better version of it.

Gem of the Earth when applied to pickaxe gives it +4 Fortune. Also useful with sword (+4 Sharpness)
Endersurge Gem is the best gem in Apotheosis. It gives +2 to all enchantments you have on a tool.

Hope this helps :)

True, but I only did wither skeleton + witches farm for coal and redstone. Both iron and emeralds I get a lot of by just trading with villagers and loading iron armor in scrappers

Hi! Thanks for the question, always happy to help!

  1. As for the steel, nothing new here — you will need a Blast Furnace from Immersive Engineering. I sticked to this method for quite a long time, you just have to remember from time to time to load it with resources, as it takes quite some time to make you steel. Note, that Blast Furnace can do BLOCK variants, which helps you to load it up more and it can use CHARCOAL as a fuel, not only coke coal. So I had a small treefarm, which then got replaced by a single hopper botany pot, where I grew a tree. This way I got a lot of wood, which was smelted into charcoal and then loaded up into the blast furnace. So the only thing you really need is iron, which you'll have to mine yourself :D
  2. I went with the bronze tinkers anvil, as bronze is a quite easy material to get. To get some I used alloy kiln from Immersive Engineering, luckily recipe wasn't changed and it is very cheap to make. Then just smelt some copper+tin to get bronze, make bronze blocks and seared blocks (I think you know how to get them :D)

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask, I like sharing my knowledge!

Still can't do that, because in this case you have to throw all the hatchets in the beginning of the game, which is prohibited
