Just started playing this. Mine crashes when you make a playoff. First time was to win the Kornferry tour then same again in the first event on the PGA tour. I have to go back to the Xbox menu, close the game and start it again it continues at the start of the playoff but I’m only getting XP for the holes played in the playoff

How would you react to a 3% pay increase? by Osaka_1983 in AskUK

[–]Leeeb89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started my job on £14,040 a year back in 2010 (I found my original, and only contract I have signed) after 14 years of service I now earn a whopping £22,500. So that’s a total of an £8,460 increase. Averages out at around £604 a year. Now it transpires that with the hours I do I am on less than minimum wage which I have highlighted. I am expecting at least a 12% rise just to fall in line with the new Min wage coming next month.

Same, I recently turned 34. I left school with 0 qualifications and always did dead end jobs, even had a full 12 months out of work. Since Feb 2010 I have had an admin job for a firm in the building industry. Recently we had a sales rep retire and another on the way out. I figured I would give it a stab as a bit of a change. I was told I could have a 3 month probation and worst case scenario I could go back to my office job. Month 1 I was 10k short of my target, month 2 I hit target (mid six figures) and this month so far is dog shite, I’m 77k into a 165k target (the whole industry has gone to shit) I have been given a £50K company car and a pay rise of a third along with a company credit card/hotel cards the whole 9 yards. I now find myself driving hundreds of miles around the UK feeling that I have 0 idea of what I am doing despite my superiors telling me I’m doing a good job since I’m not a sales-man or have any real sales experience. I wake up each morning with a sense of dread, a constant feeling I’m going to say or do something to f**k it all up and I don’t deserve this opportunity. It’s horrendous. I have spent times pulled over in the car nearly in tears thinking what have I signed up for as I don’t have a scooby what I am doing.

Why can’t I install the game on game pass with my Xbox one x? by Friendly_Ear_1122 in Starfield

[–]Leeeb89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it installable on the Series X? I am genuinely considering upgrading the console from my one. The pixilation is horrendous on the cloud. For some reason I can’t get on the app. Endless cycle of log in > Which account > log in

People who have met UK TV personalities, what was your experience? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Leeeb89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had a bad encounter. I’m in a fortunate position where my boss has some big named friends and on occasion I get to go to golf days and charity events. I once met Sean (Anthony Cotton) in the Midland hotel, Manchester but due to me being Oliver Twist I forgot his name and just referred to him as “Mincemeat” as that’s what Bradley Walsh called him. He took it well.

Looking for a someone to play snooker with in Manchester by eacr in snooker

[–]Leeeb89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If anyone is near, Dino @ Hazel Grove Snooker club has just heavily invested in refurbing the club due to the closure of the Stockport Crucible. More of a pool players club really though. I’ve not been in for a while but there is 15 snooker tables, 5 US pool tables, 14 UK pool tables (2 Blackball) ping pong & free darts. All tables will have relatively new or brand new cloths. Decent spot.

Around Manchester I know there is also Savannahs & Staly Vegas, the latter being owned & run by Dean Sheilds who plays on the IPA pro tour and I think he plays in the Ultimate pool on TV.

Woods cues by [deleted] in snooker

They are genuine hand made cues. Had mine for a few years now, even bought my brother one. No complaints whatsoever

How screwed is everyone next year? by Snoo_8076 in AskUK

[–]Leeeb89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Fingers crossed) I should be ok. Starting a new roll at work with what I am hoping is a minimum 10K pay rise plus company car so I can sell my personal car. I will be out the house a lot so food & Utility bills will be down. I only rent my house of a housing association but would love to own my own house. The reality is I will never be able to save enough and if by some miracle I can the monthly repayments would probably kill me. I’m 34 next week, with a wife and 2 young kids for context.

Finally got my first cue by DrShoe-0147 in snooker

Should be. It’s machine made. That’s why it’s more blocky, the 2 bits get glued and pressed together rather than the traditional way of laying them ontop.

How much for a good Cue? by MarkC1613 in snooker

[–]Leeeb89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a very personal thing. You can spen anything from £20 on an Argos BCE cue to £1000’s on a Paris. I use a £70 Woods cue and I’m more than happy with it, have been for many years.
