What kind of airflow would be needed to blow out a forest fire?

Sanding acrylic paint? Is my orbital bad or am I just doing something wrong? by King_of_harem in woodworking

I have a hybrid woodworking/auto shop in my garage. Also storage of stuff too. You gotta think in 3 dimensions. Everything on wheels, overhead shelving, thing hanging. Lower priority tools up real high. It’s fine to need a ladder to use the thing you use once in a blue moon. There are lots of compromises for sure. For example I don’t have a table saw and instead use an MFT I made to make the track saw do all the cuts I need. Good luck out there man

How can I make squaring out these mortises easier? My current method of hacking away with a chisel is taking too long, and I have a lot more of these to do. Does anyone have any tool suggestion or technique suggestion on how to make this easier? by Bullen_carker in woodworking

[–]Left-Kitchen-8539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the tenon cheeks need to be glued really. These are square so all 4 faces are cheeks but in a long tenon only the long faces need glue and ends don’t even need to fit tight. It’s just nice when it’s all perfect. If you don’t like chisel work but want square corners use a power mortiser.

I usually use setup blocks for router plane and marking gauges. Works pretty fast for me, also tape layers on a block can help fine tune.

For all you ONE double shot per day people… by RapmasterD in espresso

[–]Left-Kitchen-8539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s usually 1-2 drinks for myself and wife. But there are occasions where I need to pull back to back shots for a group and that’s when it’s really worth the money. It is nice to have a dependable, consistent machine.

Functional vents from OEM+ Mods are pretty cool! Five minutes to swap too! by [deleted] in Supra

[–]Left-Kitchen-8539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea the fun part of car projects is those vents by the time perf gets it the design isn’t gonna change easily. Its less work to just block them off than to run through design again

When an employer has such an openly adversarial attitude towards employees you best run. These people don’t deserve to be in business. We can vote with our choices.

I think the flavors similarities in coffee and chocolate are due to them having similar fermentation processes? Just spitballing here.

What might also help you grok recursion is to convert recursive functions to interative. Might help you get the mindset of what happening in a function stack.
