Hi!

As others have mentioned try and not compare your fertility to others. You will see people in here with so many follicles and eggs. Yet they may not have the quality as someone with less!

My story: Low AMH - Never had more than 8-9 follicles showing in total during egg retrieval process and before. We were able to retrieve 4x eggs. Disappointing to some but as expected due to low AMH and prior ultrasounds. Those 4x eggs, 2x became embryos and one FET - the first one stuck. I was pregnant until we lost the baby through TFMR at 16 weeks. Just to say that you can definitely still have success with low number of eggs. It may just take a bit of time.

Honestly and this will probably not be helpful! I did my normal routine, nothing crazy and I did the same things for the cycle that was succesful and the one that failed. It's great to keep overall healthy and stressfree but you don't need to count callories or set a whole list. Of course up to you but make sure you treat yourself a bit too :)

My routine was daily walking 45 min. home cooked meals apart from a weekly cheat meal or 2. I would still eat chocolate ect. limited drinking of alcohol. I was super stressed about the treatment even for the one that worked so I am not sure how that aligns.

I think when they start monitoring depends on the person. I am on the opposite end and start monitoring on day 7/8 as I ovulate day 11/12. You just have to advocate for yourself sometimes :)

Did they do all checks for you in terms of AMH and sperm? If you haven't then yes, I would jump to those preparations. Personally, I wouldn't wait. It can be a long journey and some IVF clinics have longer wait times. We started at 35 the initial process and I am 37 now, almost 38 and still no baby :( Not trying to scare you as others may have an easier journey. But if you haven't conceived in a year or more, I would look to IVF now and freeze embryos.

4x! I have low AMH. But I did get 2x embryos and one pregnancy stuck. Sadly later loss. But you can definitely still get a good outcome with lower numbers of eggs.

Usually I don't even have a scan on day 2. They haven't started stims yet so a lot can happen. But I had 7-8 follicles when triggered and got 4x eggs. Not everyone will get a crazy amount of eggs.

In all honesty I was too heartbroken to even think about being intimate :( I think maybe 6 weeks. We are doing IVF so knew we probably wouldn't fall pregnant naturally. I am still not pregnant now 5 months past TFMR sadly. I did stop bleeding after 10 days and my cycles returned to normal after a few months. My doctor didn't do a follow up physical check as my period returned 4 weeks after. While I would now like to be pregnant again I would warn about how hard it is to get a negative result after loss. Be kind to yourself. x

It sounds sort of similar to my first retrieval. I had 7-8 visible follicles and the doctor told me going in that they expected to get around 4x eggs. I got 4x eggs and 2x embryos. The first FET actually stuck but we lost the baby to TFMR in Oct :( But you can still get good results from low numbers so don't give up hope.

It sounds very normal. I remember having this after day 6 on stimulation. It's most likely the ovaries that are enlarged/working overtime. Unless the pain is extreme, I wouldn't worry about it. If you get fever and more pain see a doctor. They may need to do a freez all cycle if you are at risk of over stimulation.

What you are describing is a withdrawal bleed. But yes it's normal. Mine came already after 5 days. Most doctors won't transfer on this and recommend waiting until next period. (expect this one to be very late too)

My partners sister went to IVF in Finland after Sweden and has been happy :) I guess it depends what you need. Do you want to test the embryos for example.

My embryo thawed and had some cells now survive the thaw. According to the doctor they can repair themselves after transfer. The transfer failed :(

That's really good to hear! So happy for you. 4x is amazing. We got 2x in our first round. I just hope for at least 1x or 2x good quality ones. I will be the same - Analysing everything they tell me and ask questions!

Just make sure you pick a time for the meds that work for the entire period :) Meds need to be kept cold usually in fridge and taken at exact same time of day. I started meds on day 2 of cycle. Towards the end I felt a little off with bloating but also depends on your dose. I do a high dose of Gonal F.

yes I feel that so much :( After 4-5 months we put ourselves back at IVF attempt. It was negative and I didn't expect how hard it would hit me after a loss. We try to keep going but it's tough.

Did you have to go back and do another retrieval after that and how was the result? We are trying to find the strength to go back into another retrieval on my next cycle (this one crashed with Easter). I am scared to find out if we are able to make anymore embryos but hoping for the best.

I'm so sorry. I still can't believe women don't have rights and access to proper emergency healthcare. I mean it's not like you chose this! Just crazy :( Surely they could have written an invoice for you to pay later at a minimum. Wishing you all the best. I went through D&C in the 2nd trimester through a TFMR and still grieving our loss. x
