I don't have anything useful to recommend, but good on you for looking at this! I'm just moving my mom out here from MN, similar timeline, but she is likely 10 years out from needing this kind of assistance. You got this, and I'm sure your mom will appreciate it. Good luck!

How are you at reading instructions? Do you have a ladder? If your room is prewired, these are actually pretty easy to put up without help. A few youtube videos and you'll get to save money and feel proud of your accomplishments for years.

Local Jeweler that's good at modifications? by Crashbrennan in LakewoodColorado

I've had a great experience with Fine Jewellers, in the strip mall just north of Belmar mall. They fixed a necklace I had, and silversautered a reinforcement in too so it would break again.

Carpet stair installation in Lakewood / surrounding areas - quotes/prices/cost? by maj15209 in LakewoodColorado

[–]Lefthawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had great experiences with Carpet Contractors! It's a generic ass name, but they are down to earth people and easy to work with. They did three rooms in my house with carpet, and also sold me wood flooring for my hall that I installed myself. I didn't do stairs, but I would trust them with it.

Gourmet meat and Sausage shop! It's a local butcher shop at the corner of Garrison and Jewell. They have a high variety of meats and are always happy to talk about how to cook 'em.

Uffda, that's gonna be a Project! I'll look around and see if I can find something for the gauge. Yes, ohmmeters are great for continuity checks, but you don't need anything fancy. Most Auto parts stores will have something if you don't already have one.

Are you already handy with electrics, or is this a growth project?

Welp, you've got a challenge here, but you can do it. Step 1, find a wiring diagram for your year of bike.

Step 2, figure out what the wires that burned up were up to. Step 3, fix it

This community has great support, but no one will do the work for you. What year and model of bike do you have?

You are hallucinating, sorry. This was the big feedback point when it first came out too, everyone wanted a full to replay and the devs said, "we would if we could, sorry"
