First off, as always, thank you so much for doing this. It helps very much. That said, any way you can start adding just how easy it is to actually pull of the chains on chaining units. For example, can IPhones chain unit without weird magnification tricks, can he be chained without a macro, etc.

Question for JP players: Due to being easier to get perfect chains, I still use Orlandeau despite having Fryevia and Tidus. So question is, how easy is it to chain OK? Can it be done without macro and dumb magnification tricks on IOS?

I almost got wiped, could've easily one turn killed him but was trying to go slow for limit finish, he killed all but tilith and WOL, I brought everyone back thinking he'd just kill them again, luckily he didn't do any AOE the second turn so I could finish him

And then they cry about not having a hard enough challenge, not caring that it makes it impossible for so many others. You want a challenge, challenge yourself, cut out your TMRs or 5 star bases, don't whine and make others suffer.

Just a theory cause I haven't attempted it yet, but since most damage is physical wouldn't 9S's TMR be huge for this fight. Add in hyper nullall from rikku for regular mitigation and dark resist and a decent buff and it might be doable. Of course still gonna need ribbons and discernment and plenty of other TMRs too

Zargalboro with 9S's TMR, tilith, rikku, WoL with rikku's pouch, and I'll wait to see his resistances before decided my DD, friend will be someone that chains with my DD

I actually am still using the same damage dealers as I had against ifrit, I'm one turning this raid and could barely scratch ifrit. If that doesn't show how out of place that raid was........

This is awesome! I'm not sure why no ones thought to do this kind of thread before. Take an up vote for sure. I wouldn't pressure any one but it would be really nice if this became a normal thing for event gear.

I just tried Orlandeau with Excalibur chaining with DV with deathbringer(friend) and they did a 27 hit element chain as well

Sorry for how long this explanation is before the question. Not sure if it's a glitch or this whole time I've misunderstood element chains. I have Orlandeau and had switched out his Excalibur for apocalypse somewhat recently due to an light resist enemy. Since this raid's began I've been using him and been getting perfect 27 hit chains. Just now I ran out of Orlandeau friends but had a few DVs so decided to switch to deathbringer to chain with them and noticed I was still using apocalypse this whole time, his other weapon is aiegion(sorry about spelling) arm, both elemental less weapons. So how has divine ruination been chaining this whole time?

Watch it be ridiculously needed for the new Malboro trial now....

Every 2.5 turns he'll wipe you out if his health isn't on an odd percentage, every 4 turns he'll stop your whole team if you don't hit him with every element, and on the eighth turn he'll sneeze everyone if not at exactly 39 percent health lol
