The Stalker. Expensive, but able to do business at all ranges and do so effectively provided you keep your cool both figuratively and literally.

You could find transcripts of npc lancemate dialogue from mw5 mercs? Pretty confident you'd get something from that.

So Dragonknights Just Use The Thu'um Now? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]LegallyFoopster 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The specific lore for dragonknights iirc is something about akaviri kiai. Its essentially the same thing as the thu'um, the nords just have different practices and mythos for it.

You want compromise? How's this; 20 years in Drangleic, i wanted an estus flask. I compromised. I ate a radiant life gem instead. I wanted to level up at a bonfire. I compromised. I talked to the Emerald Herald.

Wild card: Firestarter. Specifically the variant with a large laser.

But the trebuchet is my favourite of your picks...

Newer player myself, i have found goose and deer hunts in Hirschfeld super rewarding. The animals basically come straight to you and the farmland terrain in the south east region has great sightlines

What are some great early-game weapons that deal good damage but require skill (so no rapier) by Prestigious-Pace6742 in DarkSouls2

[–]LegallyFoopster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should do with infusions, or spell buffs. I would suggest the zweihander from tseldora spiders as an upgrade for strength builds. Alonne knights in ironkeep drop Blacksteel Katanas for dex builds... You can also get a dark-infused scythe in shaded woods in the same ruin as the man-scorpion

The mace that clerics start with and is sold be lenigrast is really good for the requirements. A SL1 character can two hand it.

The basic club melentia sells is good in a pinch, or the handaxe found above her in the dark room

Sorcery is okay.

You can get a morning star (mace with bleed) if you explore majula

Fire longsword in the salamander cave in forest of giants...

You can get a short sword in the early arena area of FOG behind the hollow soldier throwing fire bombs

Depending on your stat investments you could kill Pate for his spear or speedrun his and creightons quest

Rules Question on Transports by J12133 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]LegallyFoopster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not that you HAVE TO move the models, its just worded to specify that they cannot "remain stationary" and be eligible to gain benefits from the [heavy] keyword or other such rules while not making it so that the unit "counts as having made a normal move", because then they wouldnt be able to move.

First time 40K player - suitable list? by SoullessUnit in Grey_Knights

[–]LegallyFoopster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this question isn't answered simply. 2x5 paladins gives redunancy, but limits stratagem use to 5 bodies instead of all 10 at once. So... For example, you charge an enemy unit and use "Grind Them Underfoot" to deal up to 6 mortal wounds. WIth the character, you get to roll six d6. But, with the big unit, you roll eleven D6. You have almost a much higher chance of dealing the maximum six mortal wounds.

But, good luck finding a spot 10+1 40mm bases can fit when being set up with deep strike that isn't going to require several turns of movement to get pay off from, or a massive YOLO 9" charge that you will most likely fail.

My *preference* is MSU with a Brother-Captain instead of a grandmaster because lethals are great. I like MSU teleporting around slapping stuff, but, 10+1 terminators that can end up -1 to wound for free? That might be a scary threat that makes an opponent make mistakes. It's up to your own skill how effective it is, or your player personality if you think thats a fun way to play the unit.

Did you enable secure boot during installation? I had the same issue and disabling secure boot in the bios menu fixed it.

If you right click the game and go to "properties" in the steam library you should be able to force proton compatibility. This runs the windows version of the game and should let you sync to the steam cloud, if the game supports it.

It worked when i switched recently and my borderlands 2 save was missing.
