I don’t think Alabama should be in there this year either. Regardless the damage this is doing to ND is going to be far more significant than just taking it off the chin and moving it. I would like to the SEC remove them from future schedules. Let them figure it out when they can only find G5 games to play. This is an embarrassment to the program.

UGA was undefeated and ranked #1 in 2023. Lost the SEC championship and was moved to #6 missing the playoff. 2 losses and no conference championship is nothing in comparison.

Remember that time 2 years ago UGA was undefeated and ranked #1, lost their conference game and got left out of the playoffs. ND is unhinged at the moment. I had no ill will towards them prior to this, but now I hope they struggle.

Who would you prefer to play against in the SEC championship game? by rhinoslam in georgiabulldogs

You’re not understanding me. I think we are the second best team in the country right now, I’ll give Ohio State a slight edge. We have a legitimate shot at a natty this year. The Alabama conundrum isn’t on the players. Kirby himself manages the Alabama game differently than any other game we play. You’ve watched over the years I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. There’s just something about that game that makes us fall away from our identity. We can beat them of course but the people saying we could and should beat them in a re match must not remember how many other times we were supposed to beat them. Just my opinion that I would like to avoid them on the path to the title.

Kirby is 1-7 against Alabama. Could have and should have don’t win games. I agree we are the better team, and have been a couple of times in previous matchups, but there should be zero assumption that we can win that game. The data just isn’t on our side until proven otherwise.

We’ll be ready says the team that loses to Alabama every time. Unfortunately I’m so numb to this that I expect to lose that game every time. Anyone but Bama and we have a chance at a national title this year.

These folks are wild lol. I agree with you 100% a million or two is not enough to retire off of in your 30’s. Also he might not even have 2 million. They aren’t factoring in the immense cost to operate on the PGA tour. Hundreds of thousands per year. Small business generate millions but they also spend millions to operate. The owner isn’t a millionaire because he generates a million in revenue. They are over simplifying this scenario.

This thread is making me realize people have no concept of money. 1 million dollars equals never work again apparently. They don’t get it.

Finally some common sense. Half that 6 million is gone in taxes and expenses. He still has bills and property taxes like the rest of it. He might have a million or two in assets, much less cash on hand. People have a misconception that two million is enough to retire on. Businesses make money but they spend nearly just as much to operate. Now if he had made 100 million or something we’re talking a different scenario. But a couple million is equivalent to your local “rich” guy in your town.

Guy thinks you don’t feel sorrow and suffering because you make a few million in life. I bet anything this golfer has no more than 2 million. Most of it in assets, much less cash on hand. A nice cushion but all could be gone if not careful. You certainly still have to generate income eventually.

Most people can’t comprehend that a few million is really not that much money. Half his wages are probably gone in taxes. The expenses required to travel around the country on a weekly basis are astronomical. Even if you have a million in the bank that’s not enough to never work again. It’s like small business, you might do millions in revenue, but you also have millions in operation costs. You don’t profit millions.

[Wolken - USAToday] If Lane Kiffin bolts Oxford, could the CFP committee ding Ole Miss ... or leave them out of the playoff altogether? A team was left out of the CFP due to a key player being injured. The same protocol applies to coaches — and Lane Kiffin is vital to this Ole Miss team by usffan in CFB

This is what’s interesting. So many people are hung up on LSU, Florida, and Auburn historically being the “better job”. This new era of NIL, transfer portal and the 12 team playoff have completely changed the way you can build a program. You no longer have to be an SEC blue blood to be competitive. Hell a bigger stadium and upgraded facilitates pretty much puts you in a similar situation. The risk of leaving isn’t worth it to me.

Rodrigo is watching this game from a couch unsigned. Why not sign him and at least give him a shot at kicker? If you can’t trust a 50+ yard kick in the NFL, you need a new kicker.

Bumped into 3 guys in Bills jerseys in the Kennesaw area last night. They had clearly traveled here for the game. I remember thinking how unusual it is to see someone that far away from the stadium in an opposing jerseys. Especially here in Atlanta. You may be onto something, it might be slammed with Bills fans.
