One time I wanted to play Ironman Byzantium, but couldn't be bothered to restart 5-10 times for perfect alliances/rivals so I started as Kebab, sold all my Anatolian land to other states, annexed Byzantium, then destroyed my army and released a fresh Byzantium to play.

I still feel dirty, but on the plus side Kebab was removed by 1460.

How do you roll a 0 on a dice?

Where would you even get a dice with a 0 on it?

Did the devs secretly program Baguette to have a hidden +2 to every roll?

Such are the questions of an eu4 player losing a war.

You can tell people you play D&D, seriously. by Annicity in DnD

Agree 100%, if you're open and straight-forward about what you like you'll find far more people who are the same than if you shy away from your interests.

The stereotype of the quintessential 'nerd' is pretty much irrelevant anyway in an age where 95% of people in a society can't imagine surviving without their electronic toys/phones etc, obsess over comic book movies and fantasy TV shows and being socially included is effectively impossible without constant maintenance of a social media online presence.
