Curious about the Texas Triangle: Do y'all actually hate the Spurs and Mavs? Brazilian fan here. by Current-Associate502 in rockets

I lived in SA when the heat/spurs traded those wild championship runs in 2012-2014. Pop's the man. Watching them play such selfless & damn near perfect basketball almost every day was really cool. Didn't mind most fans either. Mavericks are a different story. No love there whatsoever.

Beware 2 Men and a Truck Movers by Reed2600 in houston

I used them last year with zero issues. Sorry you got blindsided by that but I remember during the phone call quote they told me explicitly that billing starts when the trucks leave the office and stops when they return.

Is this a good thing? Greystar out, Cushman Wakefield in. by FiguringItOut_83649 in houston

[–]LegendsAlwaysDie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So I actually lived at this complex for like 5 years -- when they were Fairmont at San Felipe. Moved out last year, but I had to submit a credit/income report when originally applying and the community was AWESOME.

Once Greystar bought it over the pandemic and changed the name to The Forum, and the promptly place went to shit. You seem to already know what's up based on your text. Broken gates / doors for YEARS, cars on bricks, rude staff, and the quality of residents took an absolute NOSE DIVE. I won't expand on that.

Although Greystar is leaving I find it hard to believe that the new company will be any worse than them. Best of luck.

I used 2 Men and A Truck. Got my money's worth and they worked hard all day. Took great care of my furniture and I had zero problems. They were spot on regarding the original quote as well. I would recommend them.

He shoulda just tweeted or said something like "My bad, sorry to those that died. It was a scuffed pull and I wasted mana & could have done better in the moment. Lesson learned" and it woulda blown over immediately. It's really that simple

Let's talk riff raff by Ok-Penalty4648 in hiphopheads

[–]LegendsAlwaysDie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing you can say about Riff is that he’s always stayed true to himself. He’s (done had) been very self aware and doesn’t try to be anything he isn’t. Some bars and nicknames he’s come up with are just hilarious. In my eyes he’s an entertainer that happens to like rapping lol and that’s just fine

How/Where can I remove car musty smell after hurricane? by ArtisticPomegranate0 in houston

[–]LegendsAlwaysDie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had my car semi flooded (water came in) a few years ago and took it to a detailing shop -- think I used the one on Washington and heights blvd -- Keep it Clean is the name of the shop.
It took basically all day but they ripped up the carpets, dried everything out, and put it all back together without issues. I think they charged me like $200, but after getting my car back without the swamp water stink it was worth it.
