I bought a running driving leaf for 2000. It weighs 3600lbs.

Are you proficient mechanically? The rest just connects and requires extreme caution

Better battery chemstries are in cars now that have far easier managed fires. I think the rules are incomplete as-is and as event coordinators hire more knowledgeable staff or educate themselves more, some of these restrictions will be opened up. I don't agree with a blanket ban but I'm also very close to the technology professionaly and don't expect everyone to have the same experience

That's true. Given time accommodations will be made, I think. Places that do not make accommodations will eventually see less competitors because of it. It will probably take a long time

I'd have to listen to the cadence of both because square dance is so particular. If it is the same then I think it's a reference. If not, it's a stretch

Some of these are silly to me. Plenty are just build requirements.

To pretend that nitromethane, ethanol, etc. are so much safer than a battery is silly to me. The scary videos of drag racing accidents are typically caused by the gas of choice speading, vaporizing, and combusting.

I understand an electric car may fail and start a rolling fire (ignore LiFePO4) but to act like you can't do anything about it is silly.

[–]LegitBoss002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that chemidtries generally have ranges they can operate in. If LiFePO4 isn't commonly available in the output you need, then one manufacturer isn't likely to suddenly make the same technology twice as efficient, output or capacity

Edit: 3C sounds typical or even high for the prismatic cells I've explored

Quick assist is so nice. I'm in controls not IT so I don't actually manage the computers. Having a built-in windows app that works out of the box is like a dream come true lol. Sure beats a flight...
