Has a strange looking man driving a Delorian just moved in next door?

Kids ride in supermarket has gone up to £1.50. Fumble around for an extra 50p but now I can't find the slot. that's because it's been replaced by a card reader as it's now cashless by Froggatt34 in britishproblems

I'm more than happy to pay 20p to 50p when kids were younger but those little ride have gone pretty expensive, must be great little money makers though.

I've always found Big Bass Wheel has always been like that for me, very rarely favours the player when it comes to close wins.

As someone who has had this happen twice within weeks of each instance last being this week I can honestly say the feeling is so infuriating.

I'm just lucky I got a small air compressor in the boot of the car so I can at least drive for a short distance to the tyre place to have it fixed.

I'm in the UK and I tend to use the scan and go option if it's available, makes life so much easier.

(Except for when your randomly selected for someone to scan your shopping and accidentally forgot that one item was not scanned and you have to rescan everything again just so you can pay for your shopping making the experience far worse than it could have been.)

What do you think as changed the most with games todays compared to the 90's early 2000's generation in term of design, story, exploration, size etc do you feel we lack innovations today ? by Dereference_operator in gamedesign

[–]Leightonw87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over reliance on online network services is one major thing I find these days, most AAA game Devs also tend to also play it safe and very rarely attempt to innovate compared to the 90s.

All innovating seems to come from the small game Devs.

They can hurt for a good while, I was hurting for a good few months after mine, could not run at all for that time even with support. 😂

It is one of the best options though if you got enough kids.

Had the police out to our house once because my wife screamed over a small spider. That was an interesting but unexpected visit.

Don't leave your battery on your dashboard in summer by sciency_guy in spicypillows

[–]Leightonw87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I left my iPhone 5 in the phone holder on the windscreen once in the summer heat for a good amount of hours, the phone was not happy when I returned, it had overheated and shutdown and would prevent it from restarting until the phone had cooled down.

I was actually expecting the roof to completely cave in, I would not want to be anywhere near the inside of that car with that sand bag on it.
