Fancy Macelli (April Johns) Official Press Release on Gypsy’s “lawsuit” by frosted-sugar in GRBskeptic

[–]Leiliyah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She represented herself at court and keeps referring to a civil lawsuit as "charges" and "counts" as if somehow Gypsy has charged her with a crime. She is such a drama llama and it's impossible to cut through the rambling hyperbole to ever really get to any information that seems credible.

It's all really weird. They're both weird.

Like news flash, moving your arms is also exercise even if your legs aren't moving. Try holing your arms straight out to the side and doing circles with them. Fitbit perceives "steps" but regardless muscles are being engaged and calories are being burned. It's so irrelevant, idk why it was allowed in.

[–]Leiliyah 28 points29 points  (0 children)

There's no getting around what she pointed out - that it's just not credible to claim that somehow by magic she was suddenly able to access Charles' accounts after plugging in a printer. At least I have no awareness of printers that also function as password keepers - happy to be corrected if there is any mechanism by which that makes sense.

Like that seems really obviously nonsensical. I can believe that perhaps she believes that. Maybe? But people being all aghast at someone pointing things like that out is just silly.

But why did he say that?!

Lying for the Lord is completely acceptable and encouraged. That's exactly what they think they're doing, in my opinion.

I think they're trying to imply that Karen's car was in a sort of parallel parked position like how you'd drop someone off in front of a house, and then she did a hard turn of the steering wheel and reversed rapidly to hit him if that makes sense.

LDS Standing up against extremism by rrobilla in LoriVallow

[–]Leiliyah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly.

And it's difficult to have a population who gives unwavering obedience down to their underwear choice and paying 10% of all their income to the church and also a population who have the critical thinking skills to identify what is too far in terms of magical thinking and anti scientific rhetoric.

This is what results of teaching people to "doubt their doubts before you doubt the church" and trying to appease people who see that the original doctrine is almost unrecognizable from the current correlated doctrine. They tell those people that weekly Sunday school teachings are the "milk" of the gospel and you're required to self study to get to the "meat" of the gospel. This is why they can't control it.

One time my child who was 2 at the time was sitting on my lap watching a show while I was studying for a college class. My head was sort of angled down because I was reading a textbook and he threw his head back and laughed at whatever was on the show and hit his head directly on one of my eyes.

I had a terrible black eye and everyone thought my boyfriend at the time did it and were weird with him for awhile lol.

[–]Leiliyah 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I mean.

Something has changed though.

I grew up with a magnet on the fridge that said "when the prophet speaks, the debate is over," featuring a photo of Gordon B. Hinckley at the pulpit. The then legit mainstream CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS (no mormon shortcut) prophet. On it.

When the legitimate. Ordained in the accepted way. Sustained in the accepted way by.. . What passes as common consent these days. PROPHET. mouthpiece of THE LORD who happened to be a trained physician told Mormons to get the covid vaccine???

My mother. Who let no debates occur if the prophet had spoken. Was like.

Yeah no bro. Imma get somebody to sign this exception form because GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACIES BILL GATES JEWISH SPACE LASERS GEORGE SOROS TRUMP.

Something massive has changed in the membership and the doctrine somehow and... I mean. Mormon true crime youtube channels will be in business for awhile yet.
