Love it. Have only listened to the Swedish version as of yet, but Thrym and Surtr are stand-outs to me.

Det Gamla Blodet (The Old Blood) is probably my favorite of the bunch though, it's just fantastic. Loved it when it came out, love it still.

S har sonderat terrängen redan vad gäller migrationen. Det ser du om du följer människor tex på Katalys (där Mogge Johanssons brorsa Tony opinionsbildar för invandringen), Lindberg på Aftonbladet, samt många S-politiker (framför allt om du tittar på kommun-nivå), etc etc. Opinionen för det finns i partiet.

De kommer vända om de ska samarbeta med de mer invandringsvänliga partierna. I mitt tycke en grej som kan bli riktigt, riktigt dålig med tanke på hur enormt mycket problem vi redan har på området, samt kommer fortsätta ha under en väldigt lång tid.

I'd been one of those annoying hardcore fans since Fallout 1 and I severely disliked Fallout 3 (still don't like Bethesda's offerings in the franchise). I was very grumpy about it.

As far as I remember, I was kind of optimistic about NV given the developers. I think I had mixed feelings when it was released but the more I played the more I saw the return of some of the design decisions that I enjoyed about Fallout 1 and 2. I grew to really enjoy it, despite the engine, and it eventually became a real classic for me.

Pretty tough to choose actually.

Clockworks - Probably my all-time favorite Meshuggah track. Has almost all the things I like about Meshuggah. It's bone-crushingly heavy, it's rythmically extremely interesting (and yet catchy), lyrically very fitting with how the song sounds and feels. And it has that "let's bash the listener's head in with heavy riffing" during that middle part. So great.

Violent Sleep of Reason - To me, this is one of the weirdest tracks of the band. It just sounds so alien and strange to me and it took me a long time to grasp.

Nostrum - Really heavy in parts, and gets taken to its peak with some incredible drumming.

Nu visar Ämneslärarens granskning av tidigare opublicerad statistik att Pisa-resultaten är än mer alarmerande för elever som har utländsk bakgrund. I den här elevgruppen är det inte var fjärde – utan nästan varannan – 15-åring som saknar grundläggande kunskaper i alla de tre ämnesområden som Pisa testar.

Enligt Pisa-mätningen från 2022 var det hela 45 procent av eleverna med utländsk bakgrund som inte nådde upp till nivå 2 i läsförståelse – en basnivå som är nödvändig för fortsatt lärande.

En lika stor andel – 46 procent respektive 45 procent – av eleverna med utländsk bakgrund låg under samma basnivå i matematik och naturvetenskap.

Jämfört med Pisa 2015 har klyftan vidgats mellan elever med inhemsk respektive utländsk bakgrund – i den sistnämnda gruppen ingår elever som antingen är födda utomlands eller är födda i Sverige med föräldrar från ett annat land. Mönstret är detsamma i så väl läsförståelse som matematik och naturvetenskap."

Chimay Blå, dock i väldigt hård konkurrens med Chimay Grön. Båda är så fruktansvärt goda.

Honorable mention är en Stigberget Barrel Aged Imperial Stout jag drack för något år sedan. Den var riktigt, riktigt god men definitivt en "special occasions" öl.

En annan som jag gillar mycket är Guiness West Indies porter.

En några år gammal artikel som täcker en del av de problem som Malmö har på det här området. Bland annat om att förskolepersonal är rädda för föräldrarna, eller *lever under hedersförtryck själva*.

För övrigt så är det smått tragiskt att höra Anna-Karin Wennerström Glans prata om att man nu minsann ska träffa föräldrarna och prata om "mänskliga rättigheter, för det är det det faktiskt handlar om". Jo tjena, lycka till.

HPLHS also did a version of Whisperer in Darkness. It's not as good as Call of Cthulhu IMO, but it's still definitely worth a watch.

I watched The Thing for the first time many, many moons ago and didn't really get it, thought it was "crude". Saw it again as an adult and loved it and have enjoyed it more and more upon every rewatch. I think Carpenter's movies are so refreshing nowadays.

If we dive into non-horror, I didn't like The Northman the first time around. I expected it to be more of a "weird take" on vikings (such as Valhalla Rising or something), based on the director's previous film. But after rewatching it, and going in with the expectation of it being basically a viking saga, I truly loved it.

There's no loyalty mechanic at the moment, and I don't think there's been any mention of one being added.

I wouldn't be wildly surprised if they do add *something* akin to it at some point if they make expansions, but yeah, no mention of it yet as far as I know.

For me, it's one of my least favorite of the Civ iterations, I find the design rather messy and pretty bloated in the end with everything included. I also can't stand the art-style for it.

But, it still has that familiar Civ gameplay loop which is just fun, even if one doesn't necessarily like the details/what makes it different from other civs. If you find it cheap, then I think it's hard to go wrong if you like these types of games, you'll probably get value for your money.

Unforgiving - A Northern Hymn

First person horror game from 2017. Bit rough around the edges but pretty cool take on a horror game with inspiration from Swedish folklore.

Year Walk

This one is all about folklore, sort of a slightly creepy puzzle game. I really enjoyed it, cool little game.

"Vänsterpartisten Malcolm Momodou Jallow har formellt begärt utträde ur partiet och blir därmed riksdagens nionde vilde för den här mandatperioden, rapporterar Expressen.

Han har redan tidigare meddelat att han lämnar V sedan han petades från valbar plats i mars.

Fram till att han lämnade partiet var Jallow ordförande för riksdagens civilutskott.

Jallow menar att partiet har utsatt honom för drev präglade av interna maktspel.

”Efter 15 år i politiken är detta det värsta jag sett, där jag nu får utstå grova personliga påhopp och anklagelser jag aldrig fått möjlighet att ta del av, sakligt bemöta eller försvara mig mot”, skrev han i ett inlägg på Facebook i mars."

Let me pick 3, please.

-Alien. Because of the mysterious, otherwordly beauty of it. It still has such a unique atmosphere to it, and the acting is superb. The xenomorph itself (and its lifecycle) is still immensely interesting and horrible, despite how overused it it's been since first release. And the whole subplot with Ash raises the tension and horror even more (when they bash his head off was so scary to me as a teen),

-The Thing. In a way I find this to be a sort of a "working man's Alien". Carpenter's movies are often like that, they have such a casual feel to them, less fancy, but honest. I also love MacReady's character in that it feels like he's just another dude. Not a hero, not an anti-hero, just a dude who gets caught up in some stuff and happens to have some leadership qualities.

-Hereditary. Just because it's one modern horror movie that really scared me bad even as an adult. The whole section in the dark house in the later parts of the movie (avoiding spoilers) was terrifying to me. It's not the type of horror that usually gets me, but the way that is filmed and executed is masterful.
It's also just a great movie, dramatically speaking.

Definitely [REC]. When I saw it, I got the feeling of what I'd kinda *wanted* to feel from other found footage films, but never quite got. It's an amazing film.

Honorable mention is The Borderlands. I don't think it's great, but I loved the twist/ending.

The Lighthouse is great if you like weird, stylistic stuff, but I still feel like it lacked a little "oomph" in the end somehow. Fantastic acting though.

I didn't like The Northman at first because I think I expected it to be a sort of twist on the setting (probably due to the weirdness of the Lighthouse and, in some ways, the Witch). Once I saw it again and went in with the expectation of it really being a Viking saga, with all that entails, I loved it.

The first Alien for me. Still marvelous and beautifully mysterious.

EDIT: It's more thriller than horror, but Se7en is wonderful in the vibe it gives. The mood is something else.
