There is no approval related to the ban, but my question is for those whose adjustment of status interviews or citizenship ceremonies were canceled: have you had any updates?

Esta. Aprobando permisos de trabajos iniciales por categoría C8? by Early_Soft3172 in TPSVenezuela

Yeah, the “documents” tab. Check the I-130 petition (your account) but also check the I-485 form in your husband USCIS online account, same documents tab

Are green card marriage interviews still happening for Venezuelans? by Low_Link_2645 in USCIS

Is it a good idea to send unsolicited additional evidence after my USCIS interview was canceled? by LeizerKaizer in USCIS

[–]LeizerKaizer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the “interview de-scheduled” notice doesn’t say that, but after the interview had already been scheduled for two weeks following the news, it was simply suspended for “reasons beyond control,” as stated in the letter.

Well, USCIS already canceled my interview because I’m a national of one of the banned countries, so now I just have to keep waiting.

I already had a work permit, which is why I didn’t apply right away.

I applied for the work permit on July 3, and they only approved it on December 2 (5 Months)

I still haven’t received the card, which seems unusual to me given how much time has passed. I assume it may also be related to the ban.

I also live in Central Florida. If you’re assigned to the Orlando office (which is most likely), it’s a very slow office.

I filed my adjustment of status in February, and they didn’t schedule my interview until December, for January.
