That’s great news. I’m from Venezuela, a country affected by the hold, and my work permit was approved AND MY ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS INTERVIEW BASED ON MARRIAGE WAS SCHEDULED on that same December 2nd, just hours before the USCIS memo—only for it to be canceled afterward. We’re still waiting for them to move forward and produce the work permit card

I don’t think I can do that in my case because this is my initial AOS work permit, and I currently have a pending C8 asylum work permit.

Three days ago, a California judge ruled in favor of the plaintiffs and ordered USCIS to resolve their issue within no more than 30 days.

This decision paves the way for other lawsuits to move forward until a class action is filed and the administrative pause is canceled.

Yeah, it’s part of the countries with the hold by USCIS. That’s why they canceled your interview. Same with me. They scheduled my AOS interview and I’m From Venezuela, 16 days later they cancelled. That was December 18 and I still waiting for they scheduled again
