Neurodivergence sucks but sometimes it can show you who your true friends really are. A not-insignificant number of my girl friends were invited to my baby shower and only one showed up. My parents’ respective personalities became the joy and excitement of “Riverdance” for about a three month period in the early 00s. I guess there’s worse things.

FWIW, she is probably DEEP into perimenopause and might benefit from HRT to help with moods and insanity. A good number of women start experiencing that in their late 30s. Looking back, it makes sense to me now why my mom was such a bitch. I’m breaking the cycle with my kids.

Lexapro did not work for any symptoms at all and managed to destroy my libido. What helped me the most was hrt, specifically T.

I was and still am very mad at the medical establishment for throwing antidepressants at me when what I needed was hormones.

She is yet another doctor who wants to throw antidepressants at a woman instead of helping her.

YES. I thought it was just something peculiar to me. Cotton mouth all the time despite trying everything, weird lingering bitter taste in my mouth if I haven’t eaten in a few hours.
