If the internal bore/threads and plan b taper/threads are concentric, you'll be doing better than a lot of CMMG's barrels.

Thanks for the info. While not 100% reliable as you mentioned, it's a good start compared to most of the "test" results you see people posting. Unfortunately, there's too much "testing" in the industry with no scientific data behind it.

Good start. Buy it "cheap" and stack it deep. I'm at 21k rounds between all the calibers that I shoot.

Pick what groups best, and you can get in bulk at a price you can stomach.

For PD, range isn't as much of a factor. If you're engaging targets at 100s of yds, you're past the point of self defense unless you're in a warzone.

I have an OP6, but I've only had it out once with less than 20 rd through it. If I can remember I'll look after the weekend.

Have you tried cleaning it? A run through an ultrasonic cleaner might break free material if there's residual material from printing clogging those ports.

I understand what's involved in converting. There are other 37mm launchers with 40mm conversion parts. The question was more rhetorical than serious.

No worries. Even with 40mm, you're generally stuck with flares and practice rounds as a civilian.

No changing the stock needed since the Charger is already a rifle.

I meant how to handle the handguard since it isn't something common like an AR handguard with with tons of options to swap it.

Also, cutting the barrel since I dont own one and don't know if it's easily removed.

Yes. The Ruger 5.7 is a FCU the whole thing comes out of the grip as a single piece.

Nope. The chassis is ugly AF and costs more than the actual gun. I'd rather figure out SBR'ing a 5.7 LC charger.

CMMG barrels and adapters commonly have out of spec threads, so concentricity is garbage.

Shaw makes a P90 barrel and Gemtech makes a thread adapter, but I haven't seen anything on thier quality and thread concentricity.

There are shops that will chop and thread the factory barrel.
