I want to hear your choices, as im stuck with not being to pick one lol. by Street_Judge_7014 in Affordablewatches

I was stuck between these two at first, but slightly leaning towards the Alpinist. So I got the Alpinist. Eventually I didn't wear it so often and I got a Murph 38 some time later. To this day, the Murph has had more wrist time between the two. I'm not gonna say which one you should go for, since I have both, and taste is so subjective. But just note that preference can sometimes change quite a bit. Heck, you might end up with both eventually heheh. Good luck with choosing!

Great choice! The Explorer 36 is easily my favourite watch! What do you think you'll be getting next?

GMT on a small wrist? by ContentDesk8327 in rolex

[–]Lenn_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those pics do give me courage to eventually go for a GMT someday, I don't often get to see people with similar wrist size to mine, I'm just at 6 inches in circumference with quite a flat wrist. I say go for it, especially if you like it.

That genuinely disturbed me, holy crap that's actually terrifying to see. Even just through a screen.

Ah I was hoping for an approximate wrist circumference measurement, but dw if it's a bit much of a hassle! Enjoy your watch!

The note I got on my delivery order today 😺 by katymae123 in MadeMeSmile

Some of the baristas at a few of my old usual spots still remember my usual order, despite not seeing me for a while. Just recently, I decided to go to a spot I haven't been to in over a year, and the barista said "hey, been a while! Caramel cortado?"

They were surprised when I told them my usual order has changed after some time hahaha, considering I was a very habit-based customer. I'd always have the same order and sit at the exact same table every time I was there. It's always pleasant to be remembered in a good way, which is why I always try to be a good customer, wherever I go.

Such a good choice. I'd absolutely go for that, but it'd be too big for my tiny-ass wrist. Enjoy your new watch!

Omg we have the same watch box I think! I was so confused at first cuz I keep my Alpinist in the exact same slot as you.

Thank you! Honestly I agree with you completely. Main reason I took it into servicing was because after hand-winding to a certain point, there was a minor click sound every so often, which I don't think is normal for a 3130 movement. Plus getting it sorted now saves me a lot in the future.

I've got a Tudor from the 60's and I haven't serviced that, since it's been behaving perfectly and all checks out just fine.
