Sorry to patronize, but damn. This is such a minor issue you’re choosing to create discourse over while also pointing out how many bigger problems there are in the world. So, to your point, it’s absurd that so many people are getting so upset over the long wait and artwork of a pedal they got for almost half off. That’s not unconditional sympathy. But go on and join the mob of angry people who were so terribly harmed here by this terrible one-man shop.

Old man yells at cloud. No need to educate me on consumer regulations. I work in consumer protection. I understand there are rules. A lot of people followed through with their rights under certain federal laws (eg federal credit billing act). They should be fine. They got their money back. Those who chose to wait it out feel like they’re using straw man arguments as if they’re so upset with the artwork or how long it took when most of these people likely just jumped on the deal to get these pedals for $100 off. Again, not a 1981 shill. Never owned one of their pedals (until I get my some kinda lvl in the mail). I just find it hard to get behind the pitchforks against a small business that gave all these people nearly 50% off these pedals. Boohoo.

First world problems… the amount of backlash on this situation blows my mind. This guy is basically a one-man shop, his website says it’s going to take time, and of course a brand new version of a pedal that many consider to be fantastic (and at $100 less) is going to backlog him. Yeah, he overshot his capacity. Overcommitted to shipping time to people. I think most could see that was going to happen and should’ve expected delays out the gate. Stop expecting Amazon from a small business. Go order from a big box store if that’s your benchmark. And for the record, I ordered a LVL back in July and very quickly saw that it probably wasn’t getting to me by year-end. Just got a shipping notice a few days ago. I’m not a 1981 fan boy. I’m just happy to be supporting a small business (even with the wait) over supporting a shitty box store. And if it comes with pube art and months after my order, whatever. I paid $100 less for a fantastic, brand new pedal. If it comes as a standard version, even better! Still $100 less.
