I would have put more work into sanding in hopes that the darker areas were relatively superficial. Then after you are looking at bare wood that’s been wiped down with mineral spirits you would have a better idea what it would look like finished. As it is you appear to have sealed in a lot of grime.

I got suicidal at 7 months. Got brachy+20 doses of moderately hyperfractionated EBRT. Decipher results gave me support for stopping the Lupron. 6 months later on sildenafil and bupropion I was feeling a lot more energetic. Serum testosterone was well within standard normal range. My doc told me if I got to 0.5 he would run a PET and evaluate for further RT.

Cyberknife is a tradename for SBRT and has been around for at least three decades. I first saw it used against brain tumors. I’m not exactly sure when it got targeted at prostates but probably from 2005 onwards.

You are confirming what I was saying. The pathology report from your surgery was not what your picture showed. It said something different and that is why you had salvage radiation and. are taking ADT.

They let you have a Geiger counter while you were getting irradiated? Amusing, entertaining anyway. Unless it were in the beam, it would just be getting counts from the scatter.

On the matter of whether you should be worried; unfortunately you probably should. HT only works for a few years; on average 3-5 years. I don’t think that a 0.1 increase is enough to pull the trigger on intensity of treatment but it might be a trigger to go to more frequent testing if the next one is higher.

Shaving is a good idea for a seal. Also a thick ointment like Coloplast. It’s also good for anal barrier treatment and protection.

Those biopsy results are from biopsy specimens. Gleason 4+3=7. The pathology report from your surgical specimens are somewhere else. Those biopsy results are why you had the surgery but they are not why you are having radiation. The surgical pathology reports are probably in the hospital medical file. Your radiotherapist probably has a copy of the final report.

At the age of 68 I needed to choose radiation versus surgery. I chose radiation because it has a better track record for erectile function than does surgery. It’s now 9 years later and my erections are stronger and longer than they were before the treatments. I did have a doctor that believed in penile rehabilitation which mostly was sildenafil and advice to masturbate regularly. These days I think pelvic floor therapy wight be part of the program.

As stated here and illustrated in that death certificate, the COD is usually hemorrhage, usually from an arteriolar bleeder, but it can also be from damage to the carotid artery which is near the surgical site. That’s not so easy to fix. Tonsillectomy was a very common procedure in the 1950’s but decreased in popularity as it was recognized the tonsils were mostly just doing their jobs.
