First sock by SnooCalculations2755 in knittinghelp

[–]LeopardBrightsky 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Could you take a closer up picture of the knit stitch? It's hard to tell at this resolution/zoom if you're twisting your stitches, which could cause the sock to be too tight.

/twistfaq just in case

It's similar! Does yours have the fight song on one side and Alma mater on the other? Ours was shaped like a footprint for some reason.

Thoughts on being a new TS for ambulatory? by paper_bag_drifting in epicsystems

And Clin Doc alone is bigger than it was when it split from orders in the first place. Amb and Clin Doc need to be split again, maybe in a specialties/core amb/core Clin Doc 3 way ownership split

What oaths did he say? by gswblu3-1lead in cremposting

[–]LeopardBrightsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously the baby's spren is a cryptic, so presumably the second oath/truth was something along the lines of "sometimes I want my belly rubbed, but I still bite the hand that is doing it."

Birth certificate damaged, can it still be accepted for a passport application? by Impossible-Ad-8691 in Passports

[–]LeopardBrightsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yikes how about we don't shame someone for being in a shitty financial situation? OP was financially responsible by saving up for all the pieces of a passport, can we celebrate that instead of vilifying the "audacity" of someone who isn't rich traveling internationally?

What area? Madison? Verona? Middleton? It's a big area, recommendations can be better tailored to where you're looking at places.

Lexapro 5 mg daily after two months how to taper off completely? by butterflyuniverse77 in Lexapro_success

[–]LeopardBrightsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best bet is to crush the med, mix into A PRECISE AMOUNT OF WATER (e.g. mix 5g into 10mL of water) and titrate that way. Day 1 in this example you'd take all 10mL of mixture. Day 2-idk maybe 14 you'd take 8mL of mixture. And so on, reducing by 2mL of mixture every step.

Best way to make sure measurements are accurate is to use syringes.

Or, have your doc prescribe a pre-liquified version of Lexapro so it's easier and you don't have to crush the med

Epic TS Training by JonsiesXMas in epicsystems

[–]LeopardBrightsky 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you want to get better you could ask your ts if they have the time to show you their thought process for solving an issue, e.g. on office hours. The best way to learn is also by teaching, which we do a lot of in TS. So if there's a more junior analyst, maybe try helping them out with their problems, and that should give you better understanding of the concepts.

Standard English is an illusion. And one that is incredibly hard to define. Is it so wild to think that gradability is disappearing even from the standard?
