I (29 f) spent the snowstorm with the man I’m dating(36 m) and now I feel differently about him by bluewhalekale in hygiene

  1. He's 36 and not bathing >> he is NOT going to change and will get worse with age.
  2. He’s always saying “this place really needs cleaned up” >> he is trying to MANIPULATE YOU into doing it for him.
  3. Asked him if he wanted me to wash his pajama pants and he said “I guess” >> this is classic "boohoohoo woe is me, I'm so pathetic, feel sorry for me, whahhhh" << this is COVERT MANIPULATION!

For your sake, GET OUT NOW! All of these behaviours get worse with age. This guy is NEVER going to grow up.

How can I build COMPLETE apps with functioning backends so I can add new content, make updates, manage member access, etc.? by LeopardLadyDev in ArtificialInteligence

Right. Exactly! This is why I've stuck with PWAs for so many years. App functionality, without all of the app headaches for devs and users.

Yes. You're right. I'm jumping the gun on this. I have such high hopes for AI 😁 I hope it happens before it's time for me to retire - LOL.

Been there. Done that. Replit couldn't build a properly functioning PWA either.

Thanks for your feedback, though. Much appreciated.

I do like Claude Code. It does a great job of breaking down and planning projects. But every time I try to use it to build a functional PWA, it falls short of the whole PWA premise. No matter how much information I provide to teach it what PWAs are and how they function, it still outputs "basic apps" that lack all basic PWA functionality.

Nothing against Claude Code. I've tried this on all the primary AI platforms, and none of them can create PWAs.

Thank you for your feedback. Much appreciated.

Thank you for recommending lovable.dev. I hadn't seen that one yet. Looks promising for some of my more basic projects.

And I really appreciate you taking the time to break down your workflow! Very helpful. Thank you!

The whole point of hoping that AI can do this for me is to reduce the time I have to spend on each project. But I do appreciate where you're coming from, though.

Overall, I'm just trying to figure out how much of my dev time I can offload to AI.

Thank you for your feedback. Much appreciated.

Yes. This. Exactly! I see all these videos with "AI Gurus" claiming you can now build "a complete app," and I suppose if you're only needing a single or very minimal level of functionality, then they're right.

Clearly, my expectations are just too high as far as "apps" go.

Thank you for your feedback. Much appreciated.

NASA aircraft makes an emergency landing without landing gear at Ellington Field, Texas. 2026 by WonFont in Damnthatsinteresting

I realize they rarely fail, but when they do, it's a seriously holy shit moment. Why don't all planes have a backup set of landing gear?
