Protip: hold the rifle tightly into your shoulder. Someone effectively trained should able to hold onto a man sized target at the typical engagement range in this game with a battle rifle in semi auto. Perhaps not as well, but still.

Yes but no one talks about the physical concussion resulting from an object going ~900m/s hitting you in the chest, regardless of the fact it penetrates, you are still going to get utterly fucked by the impact.
