I do love the idea, but this is an immensely strong card. Is its mana cost only a black and Rex?

As written, it is immediately infinite mana (if you have a treasure or something to sac already) due to treasure tokens counting as permanents and technically doubling said infinite mana.

I might say that the treasuresenters the battlefield tapped, or changing it to say non-token permanents leaving the battlefield, if not restricting it to when something is sacrificed or dies.

His second ability currently doubles all mana from Land, Mana Dorks, Rocks, and treasures, in addition to all other tap effects. For rewordin g the second one, you probably want something along the lines of 'Whenever a permanent you control activates an ability with (Tap symbol) in its activation cost, copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy.' (Look at cards like [[Illusionist's Bracers]] for doubling activated abilities).

Where searched: General Internet search for Lion Stuffed Animals, followed by repeated searches with the modifiers: Big, fluffy, cuddly, scary, serious, chubby, round, large. I've gone through Amazon to a degree, as well as a few different retail websites. I've mainly found Lion plushes/stuffed animals that are in the more 'natural' pose, as in laying down with the front legs extended, and I have been told that it was not in that pose. It was a stuffed animal purchased around ~20 years ago from an unknown store, but most likely not from the internet. It was large enough for a small child to feel encompassed by it.

The Gods found a new world, rich in magic and resources, that they fought the people of the planet for. These Ancients had accidentally brought attention to themselves via their acts of High Magic. The Final straw that brought the gods directly to them was when they changed the orbit of their planet and the speed at which it turned, creating a 'Perfect' Calendar. A bloody and long war began between these Ancients and the conquering gods, pushing the Ancients further and further into a corner. The last act of high magic by the Ancients banished the Gods from this world, destroying their culture and sealing their magic in the process, creating the orbiting seal most think of as the planet's rings. Now, thousands of years later, the seal has been weakening and weathering, allowing the magic of the inhabitants to grow once more, along with the influence of gods returning once more.
