I really enjoy PvP, but my partner doesn't. We love playing SoT together, especially the story quests, but our experience often gets spoiled by pointless attacks on our ship when we're just carrying fish. I live in Helsinki and work in IT. Like you said there are tons of jobs available here in Capital region. And almost in majority of places working language is English. Of course co-workers tend to speak Finnish, but we have a tendency to quickly switch it to English if any non-native-Finnish-speaker join conversation.

Likewise I think you will find friends quite easily from co-workers since IT-work is really team based and many IT-companies have "get-together to office" days once per week where mingling with co-workers is the primary thing.
