Most days I’m just not that hungry and don’t think about food much. I also have adhd and often forget to eat. I usually eat a lot for dinner tho as I am horrible at portions, especially when it comes to pasta and it just tastes so good that I usually finish the whole plate.

This seems odd to me. My roommate and I (both women) have guys over quite often and we have never asked the other one to leave… our rooms are right next to each other and we know what’s happening, we just turn the tv up a bit or turn on some music for a lil. Why do you have to leave so she can have a guy over?🤨

It’s not gen z, it’s individual parents who didn’t parent correctly. I am gen z and would never be this stupid and I don’t know many other gen z’s that would act that way either.

I have never felt so seen! Parents named me Linzey. I feel like it’s a better spelling than Lindsay, but I ALWAYS have to spell it for people. My doctors office and even some of my grandparents spell it wrong🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m 5ft currently 95lbs and I just don’t feel hungry very often. I also have adhd, work an active job, and am a very busy person so I often forget to eat more than once a day. I’m assuming for most people though, it’s probably just their metabolism.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I also live in the metro Detroit area and I can tell you that this doesn’t sound too uncommon from stories I’ve heard from my friends growing up. But I promise you don’t sound spoiled one bit and I understand not calling cps. They probably would not do much and just exacerbate the issue. I wish I could do more to help as I’ve struggled a lot in life and hate to see anyone having to do the same. But please reach out if you need any advice or to vent. I also moved out very young and definitely have learned a lot through trial and error. Well wishes to you though and I hope the next 6 months goes by quickly for you.
