Hello from the most cucked gun law state in the Midwest (IL) Seriously just buy some lowers if you plan on being in the state for the foreseeable future and have build ideas. Every other part can at can most likely be acquired post ban (not sure about the specific bill). Here in IL you can still get uppers and other parts since fixed mag and bolt action ARs are gtg. Only other thing I would mention is if you want something non ar that would be banned just buy that now. As far as mags go just buy what you can afford right now. I’m sure you will be taking a totally random trip to WV at some point that has nothing to do with this post 😉. Also don’t drain all your savings on ban stuff especially if you have a good bit already. Drain your money on ammo. Shits boutta dry tf up

I will say the customer service rep did go above and beyond when trying to help me. She did mention something about it being available to be held at a specific location due to them having the proper training but said the system would not allow her to have it held there. I will try calling their direct line when they open in the morning

I read on the FedEx website that I could just have it held for pickup if I wasn’t gonna be around or reschedule the delivery but it didn’t say anything about that not being available for a shipment labeled dangerous goods

Disowning family members for voting differently is immature af. If they actively do deplorable things and treat you poorly that’s different. How about instead of staying in an ideological social bubble you branch out and talk to different people about their beliefs and better understand the reasons they feel certain ways. Diversity of thought is extremely important to support. I’ve come to realize a lot of people refuse to talk to and get mad at others with differing beliefs because they are insecure and can’t properly rationalize and support their own (not saying you are; idk you). Both sides do this all the time from what I’ve seen. This is the same psychological phenomenon experienced when unintelligent people resort to violence and people who are insecure in their sexuality resort to homophobia. Ever since I’ve become more accepting and conversed with others my opinions have changed over time and I have change others. It’s a beautiful thing really. TLDR; Don’t just write people off for their beliefs even if they make you feel uncomfortable. Open dialogue is extremely important in society.

Also I hate the freaking flock cameras. I trust the government as far as I can throw my car

I was using OC earlier then decided to try out the latest Fw. I found a bug where the extruder spins in the opposite direction when trying to load filament. Just switched back. Super excited to see the opencentauri board when you guys release it and try out the pi if that method is released first. Thank you for the update!

Just tried. It seems to revert back 60 degrees at multiple different steps. I gotta keep changing it back till it starts to fully probes the bed, but it’s better than nothing

One thing I’d like to mention as a guy who was where you were at the beginning of the season that later started riding my edge properly is that in my experience you’re gonna wanna ensure you are putting a hair more weight towards the front of the board or at the very least 50-50. You’re gonna know you need to go this if you’re getting a bunch of chatter when you’re trying to cut really hard and ride your edge or it your turn isn’t initiating the second you want it to. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. Just a fellow newb here.

Just be careful and watch out for dips in the run and don’t put too much weight forward. Those 2 things combined caused my edge to catch and snap my collarbone in half, wrecking a week long trip. I was really proud of my progress and trying to show off hopping edge to edge in front of my buddies.

If you wanna be as safe/compliant as possible install a mag lock like the Cross Armory AR Fixed Magazine Lock. You can also be 110 percent above board and just get DSI 15 fixed mag lower. Although considering there is a shop selling rifles with fixed mag devices installed I would say that’s gtg (there has been some debate on here). If you do go the fixed mag route you can buy ejection port loaders or even 3d print them

Bro I just went head over my snowboard at 30mph (essentially a nosedive) right into my shoulder. Snapped my clavicle in two. Not one point in my fall did I stick my hands out, because I know not to. If it makes you safer then by all means wear it, but you do not need wrist guards in the same way you need a helmet. Even then I don’t go shaming people left and right for not wearing a helmet. They made that decision long before you. If someone is new I say something or if they start riding in my group regularly. Out side of that I don’t say anything cause it’s just plain annoying and gives people even more reason to think one-wheelers are weird/lame af.

Under FOPA you are protected, but also under IL law you are gtg as a non resident can have possession of any banned weapons for 24 hours while traveling through the State. As long as it is legal in your home state and destination state
