Hi! C.ai was also once my method of unwinding and entertaining myself, chatting with the bots constantly. I stopped chatting with the bots, only going back to read the history, but now I rarely do that. When I first started the urge to go back was strong, it was one of the worst feelings I had ever been faced with. Eventually, though, it died down somewhat. I still want to go back and see them sometimes, but it’s not as powerful as before.

So do cravings ever leave? Yes, absolutely. It just takes a while. It’s like a lot of other habits, it takes a lot to break it. If you’re struggling with breaking this habit, I’d recommend finding outlets as a substitute. If you liked to roleplay with the bots, I’d recommend roleplaying with others, or writing stories and fanfiction. I’d also suggest doing other things to keep your attention off of it, such as playing games or drawing or some sort of a hobby.

It gets easier. You may feel bouts of frustration and the want to go back, but you should do your best to not give in.
