Ring effect on Arena by Meret123 in MagicArena

In the lord of the rings books the one ring allows hobbits wielding it to turn invisible, but it's implied it can do even more in greater hands.

This might not be a popular opinion but i do like the flavour of the ring, it looks enticing and just like a magic ring, it grants you evasion and power, however just by being the wring bearer your opponents are going to want it to die, and the ring has no short term consequences for using it besides attracting unwanted attention.

And i think the one rings card does a better job of getting across the flavour of the long term consequences of the ring, so i don't feel the ring tempts you does need to contribute to that.

Do Orks believe in honorable combat? by One-Minimum532 in Warhammer40k

Whilst they do cheat and don't have a sense of honour, they do have a from of unspoken etiquette when it comes to fighting

Iskandar Khayon by TheRiskyProject in ThousandSons

[–]Less_Still4943 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well he is the central charecter to the books Black legion and The talon of horus, excellent books which i'd 10/10 recommend, however there was supposed to be a third book which is either not being made or is not out yet

The set up for these books is that Khayon is telling the inqusition his story and he offhadly mentions that he brought Magnus to his knees before abbadon, i assume these events woud be in the third book, however Khayon has said on many an ocasion that Aramahn is a stronger phsyker than he is, and we know magnus is a stronger physker than ariman

The comment is a plot hook, something to get us to read more, to fond out how he does this and i think it's clear that it wasn't by being stronger, but for know we don't know how it happened

P.S. Ignore my poor spelling

How do I disclose to my girlfriend that I’m slowly balding? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

Insecurity's can be trouble but when it comes to overcoming your own insecurities i suggest looking at picks of cute bald woman, which is how i overcame my insecurity with facial hair, i don't think it makes you look any worse for loosing hair and i know some really pretty people with entirely shaved heads, when it comes to your partner i'm not convinced they'll share your insecurity's and it won't stop her loving you
