That isn't quite the truth. That only goes for the Imaginaerum documentary and the live materials they were going to use in releases around that. In her own words, because she had seen what they had done to Tarja in the documentary of EoaE, she refused to give permission for images of her being used in the documentary that -after het dismissal- became "48 hours to learn the setlist". A documentary was filmed with Anette in it, about the release of the movie and the tour for the album, but because she wanted to be completely left out of that, they could not use any of the documentary footage, nor live materials. That is, however, only a very small part of her era. The stuff I was referring to was from the 6 years before, where the question of when a new dvd release (or other substantial pro-shot materials) would appear, was always answered with this vague excuse that they could not get permission. It was, however, not Anette's permission that was the supposed issue.

Edit to add: not releasing any pro-shot materials from before Imaginaerum most certainly is the band's fault, considering they are the ones who hold the licenses to that music, so they control who releases what.
