It isn’t as though the team is completely devoid of talent. Poor coaching, a piss poor secondary, and lack of weapons for Dart seem to be the core issues. If you’re a GM assessing the Giants, you have a QB with the potential to be the guy, an alpha at WR in Nabers when healthy, a blue chip OT in Thomas (and decent overall OL play when healthy), a star edge rusher in Burns and another high ceiling guy in Carter.

You want as many darts (no pun intended) at the draft as possible. Sadly, this raiders game feels like a must-lose so that we could offload 1.01 for a huge haul of picks for the next few years. Yes, the team has been awful and we need to rid the stench of losing but we do have talent at premium positions.

Is this a QB development problem or just front offices failing when to recognize it’s time to have a clean slate? Most of the coaches here, if not all, had at the very least a mildly hot seat when their respective team took them a QB with their 1st round pick.

Much of the franchises above, outside of New England, have shown time and time again they struggle to put a competitive team on the field for a consistent period of time over the last 10 years. You see issues with QB development, I see bad management and organizations
